But it is Trump who is attacked as a racist — even though, you know, he never mentioned race.

Answer me this question: What race is he denigrating?

I’m sorry, but Trump is not responsible for the color of another person’s skin. So what he is really doing is the least racist thing any American can do, which is to treat these villains as he would anyone else who holds their toxic beliefs.

If you think Trump singles out only “people of color,” ask the straightest, squarest, lily-white males in the free world — ask Jeb Bush, Justin Amash, Bill Kristol, Joe Scarborough, Ben Sasse, Jeff Flake, Paul Ryan, and Mitt Romney about that.

Earlier this week, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., estimated his Medicare for All proposal would cost up to $40 trillion over 10 years. Sanders has also said he would raise taxes, including for the middle class, to pay for Medicare for All, and that "there will be pain" in a transition to a single-payer system.

$4 trillion - TRILLION, WITH A "T" - per year. Right now, the Federal government spends $4.41 trillion per year.

Bernie is STILL off base...

4 Trillion divided by the non 1% population of the U.S. =...

$11,940 per person.

That's more than double what most people would need for cadillac-level life insurance. What's the extra 2 trillion for Bernie?

And let's keep in mind that in order to even TOUCH a 4 billion increase in government expenditure, you'd have to at least double EVERYONE's taxes. And that doesn't get you freel college or a guaranteed minimum wage. Indeed, as far as I know Bernie is using his numbers JUST for healthcare. That means in order to do all the OTHER stuff he wants to do, we'd have to tax everyone EVEN MORE. And he's clearly calculating in a 100% administrative fee for any services he wants to implement.

Bernie and his cohorts would be sitting pretty on an extra 2 trillion dollars to "administer" healthcare.

She's holding out loan forgiveness to people who don't have loans. This isn't staff work she can blame for faulty research given that it was her own tweet, this is actually her.

Don't worry, I brought this up with Tibs in 2016 and he didn't answer then, he won't answer now. Of course, back then Sanders claimed it would "ONLY" add $1.5 trillion to yearly government spending. Notice how that was an extremely low estimate. Just like his estimate today is probably below what will actually be spent.

There is no way to tax corporations and the 1% an additional $4 trillion. The truth that Bernie isn't telling you is that his tax will be a huge payroll tax. Think of FICA but like twice as much. And he will argue his tax will be cheaper than what employers and employees pay in "optional" health care coverage. He also ignores the fact that this will gut every union bargained health care plan. So federal, state and local employees that are all unionized will now have to dump their good health care plans and go to Medicare. All the teachers out there (like my wife) who have decent health care plans (better than my employee/employer plan) and cover their kids at a very reasonable weekly fee will now be dumped into Bernie's medicare for all.

So Bernie will expect the States to pitch in (they don't have to pay for health care for all their union employees). Bernie will expect the local townships to pitch in. ALL EMPLOYERS will have to pay. And the only way to do that is with an extremely high payroll tax. And all of middle America will have to pay a tax that is equal too or more than what they are paying through their weekly employee.

This is all non-optional.

Millions of state and local union employees around the country are going to end up with WORSE health care than they collectively bargained for under Bernie's (and the Democrats now) "Medicare for all" plan. Most of these workers are democratic voters. So the reality is it's not going to happen.

Bernie will EXEMPT state and local workers from giving up their union bargained health care for Medicare and the burden of his plan will further fall on private industry (at an unfair rate and burden). There will be less workers per freeloader. And the cost of healthcare for private employers and employees will go up (i.e. payroll taxes will be more). Slowly at first, but consistent, year-to-year-to-year. There will be no cost savings for workers. There will be no cost savings for employers.

The math just doesn't add up. Never has, never will.
