like i said, if someone would take away his twitter account or lock him out, we'd all be better off.
I think not.

Whatever. I am not going to change anyone's mind. I guess I'll finish by saying that I don't think this tweet was racist as much as it was ignorant and ill-advised. He is such a frustrating man, because he can't just sit back and let them destroy themselves. Even the New York times was starting to hammer on those four clowns. He wants credit for that too, so he gets all brainy on twitter and makes them victims.
I'm with Sarge on this. He said what he said and don't try to spin it to mean their "home districts". I'm also not a big fan of playing the "If you don't like it, leave!" card. That's a bad argument and a 5th grade level taunt.
Do I think his original quote was racist? Very close but then I'm of the opinion "racist" is not a black/white definition and there is tons of gray in that language. I also think the democrats have cried wolf with "racist" for so long and so often that even when Trump actually says something racist, no one ******* cares anymore. The guy is Teflon on this subject now. They've called him Hitler and Racist and Dictator for so long, in so many different ways, on so many issues that he's immune to it.
I think the more the "4 Morons of the Apocalypse" talk, the better for the Republicans.
The 2020 race is very clearly defining itself as Trump vs. Socialism. The left is going to try to make it about morality and decorum and the argument their **** doesn't stink and they are above it all, which will never happen. Trump will bring them down into the gutter during the campaign and then their moral superiority will evaporate leaving only policies and accomplishment, which I think Trump will win on.

Tim, we're going around in circles. Making assumptions about people based on race is engaging in racial stereotyping. Looking at a black person and thinking "They must not be from here. They must be from some terrible shithole of a country." is racist. No different than seeing a black kid and assuming he's from the hood.
The message is if you're not white you aren't an American...you don't belong here...yeah, that's racist.
You don't have to agree, but that's the way I see it.
There is a difference between RACISM and racial stereotyping. We all do the latter daily without even thinking about it.
BTW the "If you don't like it leave" has been said by everyone at some point. I'm sure you've said it. And it isn't a taunt. Taunting someone is trying to get them to react to you. Telling someone to leave if they don't like it is a suggestion and a damn good one. I'm sick of people that hate this country coming here to bash it. **** them. Stay in your hell hole and STFU.
Do I think Trump is someone who hates people of other races or believes they are all inferior? No. If you prefer I'll call his comments ignorant and racially insensitive. It's semantics, a distinction without a difference. Either way his comments served only to reinforce some of the worst things his opponents say about him.
There is nothing wrong with "If you don't like it leave". There is something wrong with "Go back to where you came from" to a natural born American citizen because they happen to be black or Hispanic. This has been explained to you half a dozen times and I know you understand the difference, you're being deliberately obtuse.
Again it is NOT racists. You see it as racists because YOU see their color. If anything you are the racists. He never mentioned race. YOU implied he was talking about race. You're implying he said it because they "Happen to be black or Hispanic". Your don't know that. You again are implying it. You're being obtuse and you should clearly be able to see it. See countries aren't races....
It is racist to criticize the bad behavior of people of color. You are out of lockstep with the woke people in our country. You need to go to a university to be taught how to act.

Sounds like OFTB is implying that if you move to the other side of the street because you perceive the individual walking toward you as shady, you're a racist? Sounds like proactive self preservation to me.
Edit: I am not coming at you OFTB because I do appreciate your contributions and you come off as an intelligent poster who thinks before he/she posts ( I think I've read that you're female but I don't want to just assume that is true).
If I am a New Yorker, and someone with a Carolinas southern drawl is in my town and I say "Why don't you go back home?" is it racist?
If I'm in Atlanta and tell a northerner, "Why don't you go back home Yankee?" is it racist?
Nope. If they are white I can say that all day long. But if they have any form of color it will be labeled racist.
This is the problem with today's definition of racism. You can't say anything to someone non-white without it being construed as such.
LOL. Once again, you keep ignoring the fact that 3 out of 4 of them are NOT FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. They are AMERICANS. They were born here. Their parents were born here. They are no more from other countries than Trump or you or I are.
Gee I wonder why on earth Trump would assume that these women came from other countries...huh, what exactly is it about them...are you seriously trying to convince us that he would have said the same things to 4 white women of European descent? If so you're delusional my friend.
No, you keep ignoring the fact that it doesn't matter that they are Americans... well 3 of them. See you are ASSUMING the reason is because of color. But maybe it's because he knew one was and just lumped the other 3 in there? Also why are you associating countries with race? Wow you are delusional to associate countries with race...

Is it “racist” to tell people who have contempt for the country — who abhor the common culture that makes us American — that they ought to go back to where they came from? It has nativist and reactionary overtones, but I don’t think it is racist...
It would be racist to tell the progressive “Squad” that they don’t belong in our country because of their race or ethnic roots. I don’t understand Trump to have done that. He is attacking their radicalism, which they wear like a badge of honor.
