The Dem **** Show starts tonight,

like i said, if someone would take away his twitter account or lock him out, we'd all be better off.

I think not.

Whatever. I am not going to change anyone's mind. I guess I'll finish by saying that I don't think this tweet was racist as much as it was ignorant and ill-advised. He is such a frustrating man, because he can't just sit back and let them destroy themselves. Even the New York times was starting to hammer on those four clowns. He wants credit for that too, so he gets all brainy on twitter and makes them victims.

He really is, because he's doing good things for this country and I truly believe he has America's best interest at heart (you can't please all of the people all of the time) and is trying to get done what he says -- but his fragile ******* ego and brainless rants sometimes just muddies the whole ******* thing up.

I'm with Sarge on this. He said what he said and don't try to spin it to mean their "home districts". I'm also not a big fan of playing the "If you don't like it, leave!" card. That's a bad argument and a 5th grade level taunt.

Do I think his original quote was racist? Very close but then I'm of the opinion "racist" is not a black/white definition and there is tons of gray in that language. I also think the democrats have cried wolf with "racist" for so long and so often that even when Trump actually says something racist, no one ******* cares anymore. The guy is Teflon on this subject now. They've called him Hitler and Racist and Dictator for so long, in so many different ways, on so many issues that he's immune to it.

I think the more the "4 Morons of the Apocalypse" talk, the better for the Republicans.

The 2020 race is very clearly defining itself as Trump vs. Socialism. The left is going to try to make it about morality and decorum and the argument their **** doesn't stink and they are above it all, which will never happen. Trump will bring them down into the gutter during the campaign and then their moral superiority will evaporate leaving only policies and accomplishment, which I think Trump will win on.

Excellent points, especially the last.

Trump rally tonight in North Carolina 7pm EST. I hope he slams all these loons. Should be fun.

Not sure why people don't understand the meaning of the word "racists". I think you calling these women of color "Horses" is racists. See it's not hard. I'm sure I could find posts from everyone on this board that some would consider racists. It's childish.

BTW the "If you don't like it leave" has been said by everyone at some point. I'm sure you've said it. And it isn't a taunt. Taunting someone is trying to get them to react to you. Telling someone to leave if they don't like it is a suggestion and a damn good one. I'm sick of people that hate this country coming here to bash it. **** them. Stay in your hell hole and STFU.

Now I'll brace myself for the "You're raaaacissst" responses.

Tim, we're going around in circles. Making assumptions about people based on race is engaging in racial stereotyping. Looking at a black person and thinking "They must not be from here. They must be from some terrible shithole of a country." is racist. No different than seeing a black kid and assuming he's from the hood.

The message is if you're not white you aren't an American...you don't belong here...yeah, that's racist.

You don't have to agree, but that's the way I see it.

There is a difference between RACISM and racial stereotyping. We all do the latter daily without even thinking about it.

Sounds like OFTB is implying that if you move to the other side of the street because you perceive the individual walking toward you as shady, you're a racist? Sounds like proactive self preservation to me.

Edit: I am not coming at you OFTB because I do appreciate your contributions and you come off as an intelligent poster who thinks before he/she posts ( I think I've read that you're female but I don't want to just assume that is true).

Do I think Trump is someone who hates people of other races or believes they are all inferior? No. If you prefer I'll call his comments ignorant and racially insensitive. It's semantics, a distinction without a difference. Either way his comments served only to reinforce some of the worst things his opponents say about him.

There is nothing wrong with "If you don't like it leave". There is something wrong with "Go back to where you came from" to a natural born American citizen because they happen to be black or Hispanic. This has been explained to you half a dozen times and I know you understand the difference, you're being deliberately obtuse.

I don't condone his comments. They were idiotic. I wish he hadn't typed them. All I am saying is they weren't racist. That is my only point.

Don't take it personal, he needed a good target to get the crowds wound up, and they stepped right up! hahahaha

Trump signals he'll go after the 'squad' tonight in campaign rally as president targets AOC's posse

'Big Rally tonight in Greenville, North Carolina. Lots of great things to tell you about, including the fact that our Economy is the best it has ever been. Best Employment & Stock Market Numbers EVER. I’ll talk also about people who love, and hate, our Country,'

Trump thanks the dems who voted against impeachment today - another beautiful troll job!

and the crowd goes wild!

Again it is NOT racists. You see it as racists because YOU see their color. If anything you are the racists. He never mentioned race. YOU implied he was talking about race. You're implying he said it because they "Happen to be black or Hispanic". Your don't know that. You again are implying it. You're being obtuse and you should clearly be able to see it. See countries aren't races....

They'll be all over the "Send her back" chant. Trump could have probably done without that although he set them up for it by joining the Squad in ramping up the rhetoric. 100 bucks says that will be the main story all over the MSM tomorrow. How his followers were chanting racist slogans at Omar and are all bigots. I certainly don't think it will help Trump's cause.

It is racist to criticize the bad behavior of people of color. You are out of lockstep with the woke people in our country. You need to go to a university to be taught how to act.

Yup... but I've been to 7 colleges and 4 major universities and I'm still a raaaacissst. I guess I'm just born that way....

LOL. Once again, you keep ignoring the fact that 3 out of 4 of them are NOT FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. They are AMERICANS. They were born here. Their parents were born here. They are no more from other countries than Trump or you or I are.

Gee I wonder why on earth Trump would assume that these women came from other countries...huh, what exactly is it about them...are you seriously trying to convince us that he would have said the same things to 4 white women of European descent? If so you're delusional my friend.

What does "perceive the individual as shady" mean? If you assume every black or Hispanic person you walk by is shady, yeah, that's racist. If you have some other reason to think someone's shady, of course not.

I don't view disagreements with me as "coming at me". Yeah, I'm female. And thanks for the compliments.

If I am a New Yorker, and someone with a Carolinas southern drawl is in my town and I say "Why don't you go back home?" is it racist?

If I'm in Atlanta and tell a northerner, "Why don't you go back home Yankee?" is it racist?

Nope. If they are white I can say that all day long. But if they have any form of color it will be labeled racist.

This is the problem with today's definition of racism. You can't say anything to someone non-white without it being construed as such.

No, it's not racist because being a northerner or southerner is not a race.

Are you saying Trump assumed they were from other countries because of their dialects? Still trying to figure out how this example is at all relevant.

It's not that "you can't say anything" to someone non-white. It's that you shouldn't assume someone is not American because they aren't white.

No, you keep ignoring the fact that it doesn't matter that they are Americans... well 3 of them. See you are ASSUMING the reason is because of color. But maybe it's because he knew one was and just lumped the other 3 in there? Also why are you associating countries with race? Wow you are delusional to associate countries with race...

Ha ha ha...you are too funny. I'm not associating countries with race. Trump did that. I'm not the one who told them to go back to the countries they came from. I wouldn't say that because they are Americans who were born in America.

And no, it's not 3 of them that are Americans. All 4 of them are Americans. Someone who legally emigrates here and goes through the legal process to become a citizen is an American. Unless you are a native American, you are from a family who came here from somewhere else too.

Such is the power of Trump' ability to turn the narrative on a dime he just made the MSM give the Jihad Squad more airtime than the whole clown car of Dem nominees combined, effectively cementing the toxic left as the radical America hating faces of the Dem party.

Right now the DNC strategists are wringing their hands in impotent despair at already having lost the 2020 election!

LOL

Yes there is something wrong with that but it isn't racism.

From the National Review:

Is it “racist” to tell people who have contempt for the country — who abhor the common culture that makes us American — that they ought to go back to where they came from? It has nativist and reactionary overtones, but I don’t think it is racist...

It would be racist to tell the progressive “Squad” that they don’t belong in our country because of their race or ethnic roots. I don’t understand Trump to have done that. He is attacking their radicalism, which they wear like a badge of honor.

It's not racist to attack someone's radicalism. It's not racist to tell someone "If you don't like it here you can leave".

It IS racist to tell a black or Hispanic person who was born here "Go back to where you came from". They are where they came from. They are Americans.

You understand the difference Stewey. The person who wrote that piece understands the difference. Not admitting that is nothing less than willful blindness.

I don't know how many more times I can explain this and how many more of you willfully ignore it and try to pretend like that's not what he said when it is clearly, unequivocally, what he said. I've wasted enough time on this broken record.

If a staunch black conservative for example Sheriff David Clarke had said the exact same words would it be racist? Hell no, not because he's black and "he's allowed" but because we know where he's coming from regarding those four . Same should go for Trump.

Really now, this guy has undergone daily undeserving scrutiny from the day he was elected... does anyone actually believe Trump would deliberately tweet something he thought was racist?...
