Last I heard, 71% of gas stations in NC had no gas. Saw a guy with 6 55 gallon drums at the pump yesterday. No wonder they are emptying out.

Just read Colonial Pipeline paid the Russian hackers nearly $5 million in ransom.

There aren't gas shortages, there is a distribution issue due to pipelines of private companies that were hacked.

There are in fact gas shortages. Period. It's not an argument.

The cause is irrelevant. Whether the middle east oil fields were bombed, or all of OPECs tankers were sunk, or our gas station pumps were hacked, or aliens destroyed our gas stations, or hackers prevented pipelines pushing oil down the line is the cause, it does not change the fact that gas was not available at the pumps.

That is a shortage.

In 1978 and 1979, there wasn't a "gas shortage" by your definition either. An embargo kept the oil from getting to our refineries which led to gas not being available at the pumps.

Which...is...still...a...shortage.

There will never be peace until there is a fair, amicable solution to ending the apartheid state, and creating humane, acceptable living standards, jobs, schools, medical facilities, infrastructure, freedom of movement & self-governance for the nearly 2M Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza strip.
