The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

I do find it humorous that Pelosi is afraid to send the articles to the Senate, because she doesn't know how the proceedings will be handled.

I thought she was all about passing things so we can find out what's in them.

Not to worry, the narrative will be "See! See! The Republicans will never convict Trump! We need to elect more Democrats to the Senate."

VA getting a taste of Democrat rule. I predict record Republican turnout in 2020 and Trump takes VA this time.

I don't think so. Virginia is lost due to the millions of Democrat Federal workers in the D.C. suburbs. They are perfectly okay with this. Virginia is a company town and the company is the government. It will never vote Republican again in my lifetime.

It means a guaranteed 2nd term Mr. President.
If you say so. I wonder how it all plays out with the evangelicals turning against him. Must be happy times in the WH these days.

Tibs, one of your heroes is featured above via the "Maine antifa" tweet.

THAT is your base. Millions of stupid, lazy, ignorant, unemployed, violent losers are your base. The (D)im scum in Congress falsely impeached the President for purely political reasons. They could not even make up an alleged crime to support the impeachment. Oh, and I raped your "Wahhh, Trumpists don't argue the facts" narrative in a separate post and as usual, you simply ignore the facts.

So do we, the conservatives, block traffic, destroy property, shut down businesses, and generally make life miserable for people who have nothing to do with the (D)im ****-show? Of course not.

Only your assclown base does so. Well, here I mean. If they tried that **** where you live, they would get their heads caved in.

Lying liar telling lies. Evangelical support for Trump is now well above the 80% he got in the 2016 election. If you sniff glue, try to stay away from those blithering imbecilic lefty sites. You start to believe the idiotic **** they make up.

LOL its pretty rich her being worried about that with the way they went about it in the House....

If you google the word hypocrisy the first 100 links should be democrat party related.

This was quid pro quo for personal gain. That is the difference. That is how Trump abused the power of his office. Nothing he did was in the national interest or for the benefit of the country. He then obstructed Congress every step of the way. Consequently, he got his ***** *** impeached. Quite simple, really is.

What personal gain? Be specific.

If we ever get our microbrewery off the ground I'm going to suggest a peach beer called "Ah Mo' Peach".

You might want to do better research the evangelical support for Trump, it is up over 80% , not to mention all of the support from the black churches now.

America’s most renowned Christian evangelist and missionary, Rev. Franklin Graham, has joined President Donald Trump in pushing back on a long-established Christian magazine that’s come out in support of the president’s impeachment and removal from office.

In a tweet posted early Friday morning, hours after Christianity Today’s editor-in-chief published a scathing editorial calling for Trump’s impeachment, the reverend pointed out that while the magazine may dislike the president, his father didn’t.

And that’s quite relevant given that his father, R.I.P., started the magazine!

Look:

.@CTMagazine released an editorial saying @POTUS Trump should be removed from office & they invoked my father’s name, so I felt I should respond. Yes, @BillyGraham founded Christianity Today; but no, he would not agree w/ their piece. He’d be disappointed. https://t.co/XO5Fj0hxnc

— Franklin Graham (@Franklin_Graham) December 20, 2019

I hadn’t shared who my father @BillyGraham voted for in 2016, but because of @CTMagazine’s article, I felt it necessary to share now. My father knew @realDonaldTrump, believed in him & voted for him. He believed Donald J. Trump was the man for this hour in history for our nation.

— Franklin Graham (@Franklin_Graham) December 20, 2019

In a lengthier statement posted to Facebook, he further slammed the magazine for siding with the Democrats and their demonstrably partisan impeachment drive.

“Why would Christianity Today choose to take the side of the Democrat left whose only goal is to discredit and smear the name of a sitting president?” he wrote. “They want readers to believe the Democrat leadership rather than believe the President of the United States.”

“Christianity Today said it’s time to call a spade a spade. The spade is this—Christianity Today has been used by the left for their political agenda. It’s obvious that Christianity Today has moved to the left and is representing the elitist liberal wing of evangelicalism.”

Of course, the 63-year-old magazine’s editor-in-chief, Mark Galli, sees things differently.

In his editorial, Galli echoed the Democrats’ impeachment talking points to a T, writing, “The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.”

That’s an unproven narrative that isn’t backed by the facts.

Galli also took shots at Trump’s alleged lack of character and morals.

“He himself has admitted to immoral actions in business and his relationship with women, about which he remains proud,” he kvetched. “His Twitter feed alone — with its habitual string of mischaracterizations, lies, and slanders — is a near perfect example of a human being who is morally lost and confused.”

Just to be clear, a president cannot be impeached for being immoral or lacking character.

“Whether Mr. Trump should be removed from office by the Senate or by popular vote next election—that is a matter of prudential judgment. That he should be removed, we believe, is not a matter of partisan loyalties but loyalty to the Creator of the Ten Commandments,” the op-ed continued.

The use of the pronoun “we” makes it clear he wasn’t just speaking for himself but rather for everybody working at Christianity Today.

Galli concluded his editorial by urging evangelicals to throw Trump under the bus.

“We have reserved judgment on Mr. Trump for years now. … To use an old cliché, it’s time to call a spade a spade, to say that no matter how many hands we win in this political poker game, we are playing with a stacked deck of gross immorality and ethical incompetence,” he wrote.

It’s not clear whether Christianity Today ever directed this same level of scrutiny at former President Barack Hussein Obama, a man who openly and proudly promoted various biblical sins, including homosexuality and promiscuity.

Later Friday morning, about five hours after Graham’s post, the president himself weighed in on the editorial with his far more caustic take.

Look:

A far left magazine, or very “progressive,” as some would call it, which has been doing poorly and hasn’t been involved with the Billy Graham family for many years, Christianity Today, knows nothing about reading a perfect transcript of a routine phone call and would rather…..

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 20, 2019

….have a Radical Left nonbeliever, who wants to take your religion & your guns, than Donald Trump as your President. No President has done more for the Evangelical community, and it’s not even close. You’ll not get anything from those Dems on stage. I won’t be reading ET again!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 20, 2019

Ouch …

Granted, his supporters have been just as scathing in their retorts to Galli and his anti-Trump, seemingly pro-Democrat Party peers.

Look:

Who’s going to tell the liberals that 99.999% of Christians don’t care what Christianity Today says about anything?

— Mark Dice (@MarkDice) December 19, 2019

I’m a Christian, and I don’t care what these heads say.

Trump is the best thing to happen to Christianity today. The demoncrats have voted God out, and are against everything the church stands for.
I believe in freedom. And protecting every one in our society. @CTmagazine bye pic.twitter.com/UIvm4pRZc2

CT you have lost touch with the core Evangelical audience. Your ever growing slant to placate to a morally digressed crowd has you falling short again. Your lack of constitutional grasp and of being in touch with core believers will cost dearly@falkirk_center @JennaEllisEsq

— Jaco Booyens (@BooyensJaco) December 20, 2019

Mr Galli, your support for Progressive Democrat’s unconstitutional action just cost you a Christian reader. I suspect many more will do the same. Your self-perceived moral superiority trumps the US Constitution? Protecting the unborn? Protecting kids from transgender abuse?

How could any honest, self-respecting Christian ever support Trump? He's proven many times over if he's anything, he is the anti-Christ. How could you support a man who violates the seven deadly sins on a daily basis? It doesn't make sense.

When you have a Satanic Pope, the bible thumpers are just gonna have to get in line with Trump

Fact is, Trump is a piece of **** and you all know it. For whatever reason, you ignore it, or simply don't care anymore, or maybe never cared. Hence why it's safe to proclaim the Trump base sold its soul a long time ago. Christians, my ***. What a joke. To each his own.

Trump implies beloved late Michigan congressman is in hell during a rally held while the House voted in favor of impeachment

Just to be clear here: John Dingell represented Michigan in the House for 59 years. He was -- and is -- the longest serving member of the chamber in history. He was on the House floor -- he was a page -- when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt addressed a joint session of Congress on the day after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. He joined the Army and eventually made the rank of second lieutenant.

This is how The New York Times described Dingell in the first paragraph of its obituary following his death in February:

"John D. Dingell Jr., a powerful and tenacious Michigan Democrat who pushed landmark legislation, exposed corruption in government and became the longest-serving member of Congress in American history, died on Thursday at his home in Dearborn, Mich. He was 92."

It is this man that Trump "jokingly" suggested might be in hell. A part of the greatest generation. A man who dedicated 6 decades to public service. And Trump did it while in Dingell's home state of Michigan. (To be clear: This would be classless anywhere. But it shows a true tone-deafness to attack Dingell in a state he did so much for a member of the House.)

Wow, horrible. Unlike Hillary. Or Bill. Or Barry. Or Nancy, Jerry and the Stooges.

Since you are apparently completely and absolutely ignorant of the topic, let me try to help. Christianity teaches that ALL OF US, EVERY HUMAN IN HISTORY BUT ONE, is consumed with those desires. Christianity teaches a way to control the desires and make the desire for profit, and worship, and money, and power something we turn for the greater good.

So the fact that Trump, and Billary, and Barry, and the Stooges are rife with lust, gluttony, greed, etc. means just ONE thing - they are human.

Finally, you posted something stupid and are getting reamed for it. Posting other dumb **** does not make your original stupid comment any less dumb.

Wow, and I recall your alarms when women were fainting for Obama, etc. Oh, no, I don't, because you didn't. So just ******* stop.

Finally, nobody - and I mean N-O-B-O-D-Y - worships Trump. It is the usual projection from (D)ims about their buttlicking of Obama.

Nice try, but for Democrats their god is the government.

Just remember that when you read what the Liberals are saying when Trump dies. Or go right now and Google what they said when Reagan died.
