Some bad news I heard today.
- Biden will meet with his family at Camp David to discuss the future of his campaign, reports say.
- The trip was planned long in advance but the purpose has shifted after Biden's rough debate.
- A chorus of influential supporters have called on Biden to step aside in the last 48 hours.

High-ranking DNC officials and donors are in panic mode, primarily because they fear the risk of losing power and control, NOT because "Democracy" is at risk. However, the PEOPLE have spoken. Registered Democrats named Biden their nominee. 99% of the DNC delegates have already pledged support for Joe Biden. A handful of wealthy elites working through PAC's and SuperPAC's should not be able to subvert the will of the people, and disenfranchise millions of the voting electorate, simply too achieve the outcome that suits the powerful elites and keeps people like Schumer and Raskin in power. Democracy doesn't, (or at least, shouldn't), work that way. Did Biden have a bad night?? Sure did. But, the DNC has had 43 months to address Biden's mental acuity issues and find a viable candidate to run in 2024, and they did nothing but gaslight the public about Biden's health. Coincidentally, it is the Democrats who slammed the door shut on the idea of any primary debates. RFK, Jr., among many others wanted to primary Biden and the DNC would have no part of it! Seems to me that a few primary debates could have identified and exposed this issue months ago!! This problem is 100% self-inflicted. No sympathy....

Joe was really the only candidate in the primary. Just like 2020, he is the only Dem who is remotely electable because everyone else is a flat-out Communist* except RFK Jr. and he's too centrist.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Monday ruled for the first time that former presidents have some immunity from prosecution, extending the delay in the Washington criminal case against Donald Trump on charges he plotted to overturn his 2020 presidential election loss and all but ending prospects the former president could be tried before the November election.
In a historic 6-3 ruling, the justices returned Trump’s case to the trial court to determine what is left of special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of Trump. The outcome means additional delay before Trump could face trial.
The court’s decision in a second major Trump case this term, along with its ruling rejecting efforts to bar him from the ballot because of his actions following the 2020 election, underscores the direct and possibly uncomfortable role the justices are playing in the November election.
“Under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of presidential power entitles a former president to absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for the court. “And he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts. There is no immunity for unofficial acts.”

This case is going back to the lower courts. SCOTUS basically gave the lower courts a new guideline based on the lower court’s broad yet vague interpretation of the law. So libs are hysterical over nothing at this point as the case is not yet settled.
Libs are predictably losing their **** but this will also protect Joe from prosecution.

JFC what every ******* person is missing is there is already a mechanism in place to cover anything the President does while in office, and it supersedes the courts. It is called IMPEACHMENT.

In my mind even without immunity for Jan 6th Trump has already been tried and found not guilty in the only venue that has jurisdiction over his actions while in office.
