Correct slash, You take a 20-something year old and confront them of their deficiency as a MAN and see what you get, usually failure to change. BEN not only grasped the degree of his character, but fully ran with his change in character as a human being...... for the much better. He has lived his life to true change and strives to be a great example of fatherhood / husband / friend / son, something I and many others feel has been successful at achieving.

BEN is the high standard of changing, many should follow his example.

Read it along the way. He is now a family man and a man of faith. No negative personality reports have surfaced as well. Google it you will find reports. 😀

It’s his whole NFL life that’s been on display since he was drafted. Witnessed it along the way. An example of that is when he got busted for uniform violation of hav ing “PFJ” on his cleat, that stood for “Playing for JESUS”.

Not just his faith, but his humanity side as well, family man and committed to his wife and children. There is no secret to this, it’s an accumulation of hw he has been doing since the Millegevill incident, that being the catalyst for his change.

With Ben, he has me a bit confused: On one hand he says he was addicted to alcohol and porn and has changed his ways but on the other, he still drinks beer etc? I'm a little confused here. I'm not really worried about the conflicting messages but I just wonder.

Despite what AA tries to say, you do not have to totally cut out an addiction... the latest theories on addiction treatment heavily prefer tracked moderation because total abstaining tends to lead to hard core relapses...

I'm not gonna sit here and portray myself as some kind of expert in addiction. I know this much: The so-called "experts" change their philosophies over the years. They vary from complete abstention to moderation and everything in between and still do vary on it to this day. One school of thought is it takes complete omission of all addictive substances from tobacco and coffee included. Other programs allow daily drinks. I don't know. But at one point, Ben was admitting addiction to alcohol (and porn) at a level where total abstaining was the only solution, and as he portrayed it, then, the next thing I'm hearing is he is having "test beers" on one of his shows? It left me confused.

I'm addicted to striking a line though the Patriots name in regards to the Playoffs early in the season and each week when I update my list. I love the addiction.

You're going to have a busy pencil this weekend in the AFC. 4 loss teams NYJ, TN, Oakland, cinci. 5th loss effectively buries them all. We know jets will lose

NFL site has high probability for jets making post. Not sure of their methodology because they don't detail it

I'm not trying to be cute here, but how do we KNOW the Jets are going to lose? Serious question. We lost to the Colts (31st in D) and the Cowboys (just got destroyed by the Saints by 25 and by Detroit by Detroit by 38). Where does all this great confidence come from? We could very well beat NY but we could just as easily fail. Both our losses came from inferior teams.

saints Cowboys was week 2. that is a long time in NFL standards certainly not "just" Most "fans" are optimistic at some point through out the season. Not you. Not trying to be cute. just stating facts

It’s adorable how you feel the need to elaborate in order to demonstrate your intelligence on a comment that is nothing more than a prediction.
No one knows the outcome of a game no matter what 2 teams are playing. Confidence doesn’t have to come from anywhere. I’m confident that the Steelers will win just because I am.
