Reminds me of a story the recently departed Ravi Zacharias shared in one of his lectures years ago. A Christian and an atheist were debating on a college campus and purportedly a true story. The atheist argued that belief in God made zero difference to society and has no efficacy to the social fabric nor individual lives. The Christian asked him to imagine the following scenario:

You're driving by or through South Central LA about midnight. Your car breaks down near what the world would deem a tough neighborhood. In short order, you see 8 burly men emerge from a house heading straight toward you at a brisk and intentioned pace. At that point, would it make any difference to you if the men were leaving from a Bible Study and prayer meeting?
