Tomlin says there will be changes to staff. Outside OC as well.

And I get that. I understand people being jaded. I understand people wanting Tomlin gone; for a variety of different reasons, including just that his time is up and he's gone stale here. The crazy part to me is the blaming the man for every aspect of everything. Just doesn't make sense.
Did he give up the title of Head Coach along the way somewhere that I missed?

As head coach everything that happens on the football field always eventually leads back to him in some way shape or form.

With that title comes much scrutiny

When the HC takes part in GM stuff too (like building the roster out) then even more scrutiny and roads lead back to said HC

Just the way it is
They’ll get too much credit from some and too much blame from others

When it comes to crappy parking, vending, stadium seats etc then he gets his get out of jail card as that goes towards ownership

But damn sure anything and EVERYTHING that happens between the lines Will always lead back to the HC whether that is right or wrong…he gets paid millions for it so I’m sure he’s more than fine with both the unfair scrutiny (which he doesn’t pay attention to anyway) and the underserved credits/accolades that come his way too

And yeah for what it’s worth I’m kinda along the lines that any coach will get stale after a long period of time and Shades’ message DOE was a few years ago at a minimum…the results bare it out

Here, don't miss this one either. I don't give a **** what you think. Never have. Never will. Don't care whether you think I have a narrative to push. Don't care about yours. Will eat, sleep and **** just as well with or without your opinions of me. Basically, if you don't like what I have to say, you have the option of putting me on ignore. Instead, you allow me to (unintentionally, I assure you) live in your head rent free. So be it.
Ignore button...LOL. Seems someone's feelings got hurt. And live in my head? Really. LOL, You sound like Coach now. No. I will keep putting my opinions and thoughts on the message board as I am sure you will also. Lighten up a bit though. No reason to get all bent because someone said the narrative you spew all the time has gone a bit stale.

Still missing the point. smh
It's OK though. I've come to expect that from you.

Never said that Tomlin knowing Canada wasn't a factor in his hiring. That's not just Shades, though. Hiring people you know or have coached with before is a common practice among many college staffs, and I'd imagine is the case with some other NFL head coaches.
True. Nothing wrong with hiring people you know or worked with previously. The problem comes those are the ONLY people you hire. On this, Shades’ record is clear.
As I’ve said before, his best coordinators were the three he DIDN’T hire, The Bruce, LeBeau, and Haley.

Not really....but maybe if you say it again it will make it true.

Then, I'm sorry things aren't OK for you. It'll get better.
Hey, are you going to add anything football related, maybe OC related. Or do you need me to hold your hand a little longer?
'Cause otherwise, I'm just going to bid you adieu.

Lol. All this just because I stated your narritive has grown old over the years. 🥴

When you are in charge, the buck stops there, everything is ultimately your fault.
And Shades often says as much himself, but he doesn’t ever actually change and do anything about it.
3 playoff wins in 13 years and if he’s here for 13 more years there will be at most 3 more playoff wins.

Yep, one of those wins was an EPIC Bungle‘s bungle……….. a gift win.

The same game that started what some believe as the hit that started “little chest” downfall.

Hell the more you have $$ the more you seem to expect everything for free. Funny how that works.
And make no excuses it does surely work that way. An Indian-born owner of a liquor store here tells me that the customers who walk up driving Jags etc. always try to "round things off" down or toss in a bottle they expect to receive free of charge. He says the rich constantly try to get stuff for free. Not all, of course, but a lot.

Yea, his 34 receptions. in 2 years with 0 TDs at BC surely made Dino the envy of every college team out there. I can't wait until Tomlin drafts him to become a Steeler. Shades still thinks nepotism is the magic bullet to fielding a great team. Pure genius.

So, BC is in on the conspiracy, then. Must be.

Arch Manning was a 5-star, can't miss QB recruit. In his freshman year, you know what his stats were? I'll tell you: 2/5 for 30 yards. According to your myopic view of college football, gee, he must really suck, right? And with Ewers staying at Texas for another year, there's a chance that Manning won't see the field much as a sophomore, either.

As I already attempted to explain to you, Tomlin was a high 3-star recruit. Not all 3-star high school players are going to put up monster career numbers in college. It doesn't mean that they didn't deserve a scholarship coming out of high school. You're not stupid enough to not understand that concept, are you?

And you don't think the embarrassing chanting of fans chanting "Fire Canada" had anything to do with Canaduh being fired? I got some swampland for sale down here if your interested.

Yes, I'm sure that Rooney makes his business decisions based on what fans are chanting in the stands. And this show of power superseded Tomlin's supposed loyalty to Matt Canada for giving Dino a scholarship. You think the world is flat, too, don't you?

If you don't think people with $ still don't like free stuff you haven't been around much
You said that already, chief. Repeating yourself, now?

I’ll never forget going shopping with this fellow I know. Stinking rich. He bought a canoe paddle, took out his key and put a couple nicks in it. At the cash register he asked for a 25% discount, which of course he received. We called him discount Pete. Did a lot of work for him. He always paid instantly, but asked and excepted a 5-10 % discount. After a while we just put 20% on top of our invoice price. But he was happy as a pig in **** if he got his 10%.

The other two wins were against backup QB’s.

When would you like to buy that swampland?

It's not pretty when you look at the body of work over that period of time.

If you throw in the considerable amount of losses to awful teams, it's even more disappointing.

All I hear is a bunch of excuses every year. What I see is teams undisciplined, lazy and unprepared.

It's always just good enough to be mediocre, never elite.

When is the last time you’ve seen more than 4 CRISP tackles in any given game, I’m talking fundamental & clean

It just doesn't happen. I only see a few guys giving it their all and are fundamentally sound. Roberts No. 50 is one of those guys.

I see a lot of whiffs, half efforts or no efforts, out of place undisciplined garbage. They do just enough when they have to.

I no longer believe anything the coaches say when they speak of objectives. The actions clearly show this isn't the case.

Nobody wants to go above and beyond what they absolutely have to do.

I think of all of the men who came before them who did the job for basically peanuts. These guys have a payroll every year in the hundreds of millions of dollars and they do much less and still ******* complain.
