Tomlin sucks thread 11/6/16

So it should be quite easy to pin point what exactly he did that cost is this game. What play was it?

some examples were already provided

if people ignore the facts that doesn't change them from being facts

it will not remove trending statistics either

This is my issue when it comes to Tomlin. When we were 4-1 NO ONE was falling over themselves to say good job coach. Great gameplan Coach. Way to have your team fired up...

But as soon as we lose its all his fault. Everything. From playing Ben today he's a doctor now?? Everything. Missed blocks missed tackles inaccurate passes etc all on him..

You can't say when we win it's in despite of him then when we lose its all him.

Players play. They practice the game plan all week..go out on Sunday and execute.

For the last time that's my issue with the Tomlin bash fest that goes on around here.

ok so you agree he stunk up the joint

then you bench him at halftime for a ******* spark which the team didn't get until it was too late

Yes, bench a HOF QB for Landry ******* Jones. The team did so well rallying around him the week before. And, again I say, this place would have blown the **** up and probably crashed, had Tomlin benched Ben for Landry Jones, and they went ahead to lose 21-0 today. There was nothing wrong with Ben once he decided to take his head squarely out of his *** and play ******* football. What do you surmise it was that jump started him to throw for 200 yards and a touchdown, as well as a rushing touchdown, in roughly 11 minutes of play today? Because he was well enough to do all of that in an incredibly short amount of time.

And none of that is factual all opinions.

The 8 3 and outs, The run run pass formula, the lack of emotion / sideline coaching, the 2 weeks of so called preparation, the lack of discipline with 11 penalties in the first half etc etc....Sure the players did not execute at times, but 3 of the 4 losses were blowouts and the loss against the Pats was not as close as the score indicated. The team is not performing up to its expectations especially on offense. When you have a top 5 or even top 3 QB, the so called best WR in the game, the so called best RB in the game, and a good compliment of other WRs, the offense should not have like 65 yards going into the 4th quarter. It is inexcusable and a lot of blame has to fall on the coaches.

years people have bashed Tomlin, and when Ben gets in a groove it is easy for fans to ignore the trends

afterall it will obviously get quiet when you win

but you see then you see the trends continue

it is like a marriage

you put up with bullshit for so long

but eventually a person realizes it is a bad marriage

some here just need to see a corps first unfortunately

sure it is

the facts are there to read and have been reported when Ben rushes back from injury and Tomlin's record against ****** teams.

Those are facts that are trending

you believe they aren't enough to hinder the team

I believe they are

I'll give our coaching staff props when they do something unexpected, like win as an underdog or win with a bunch of guys hurt. But when the expectation is to go out and win games as one of the best teams in the NFL, I'm not going to go out of my way to give praise for something I expected to happen.

A JV coach could see with the fronts put in front of them that running was futile. They needed to get their running game from short passes to Bell. They needed to set up manageable situations.

What caused the 8 three and outs?? Inaccurate passes played a big part correct..then there were penalties and drops. Missed blocks in the run game or just plain old stuffed. Giving the ball to Bell two times in a row is a problem now??? Don't give it to him that's a problem too. Um maybe they ran two times in a row cause the passing game sucked too. So what kind of offensive game plan can be built around a QB sucking and the Oline not moving anybody. The top 3 QB hasn't played that way since the game before the Dolphins and he wasn't playing well before the injury.

What you say is true, but when your top 5 qb comes out and plays like a bottom 5 qb for damn near the whole game, you'll get what you seen today. Ben connects on even just a couple of his throws early on in the game, it's possible we're having a different discussion. Also, the Steelers don't have a good group of receivers. When Bryant is on the field, yes they do. Without him? They're Antonio Brown and a couple of guys.

He's supposed to get into grooves he's a 100 million dollar franchise QB

So is it just when Ben RUSHES back from an injury...or is it his first game back when from an injury?

Do you really think this team was well prepared, with two weeks, for this game? We've talked about this before, it's NOT just this game, it's been the same problems over and over and over for years. What does he do well?

Inaccurate and not seeing the whole field like he normally does. I saw inaccuracy and staring down WRs, and not seeing others. Which screamed of a elite QB not ready to be back on the field due to injury.

Or when one of those couple of guys is streaking wide open it would help not to overthrow him. Could of been 10-7 early in the 3rd quarter but let's not talk facts

there is no answers for trends

the apologists only point to the current game for their basis of argument

No it doesn't cause he has done that in games here he isn't hurt nor coming off injury

Was Baltimore? Didn't they have two weeks? Ben stats coming off an injury hasn't been good. Throw in his history against sub .500 teams of late. We win and lose with Ben. That is why we pay him the money we do. This trend of his has to change if he wants to win another SB regardless of who our HC is.

I think many of times this team isn't prepared. But Ben's talent masks it.

Sometimes talent won't overcome stupidity.

Again, I ask, what do you surmise it was that made Ben all of a sudden decided to say **** it and start making plays late in the game? Normally, QBs don't throw for 200 yards in a half, and he managed to do it in 10 minutes. Surely, if he was injured, as you state, he shouldn't have even had that bit of succes, should he?

What in the hell is unprepared?? Did they practice all week. Did they look confused. Besides Ben I mean. The defense played well. One miss tackle by Mitchell.

No it doesn't cause he has done that in games here he isn't hurt nor coming off injury

that is all due to coaching decisions............. with or without injuries

as in game preparation decisions

having the team physically and mentally ready out of the gates

lack of game time management / ****** game time decisions

really so much can be pointed to this head coach, so much it is nauseating to see people yearly defend the hack

Yes, Ben played like ****. But we have won MANY more games because of Ben then Tomlin. Doesn't Tomlin also get paid millions? Why is he not held accountable. I'll say it again, he's the HEAD COACH!! What does he do well? What do you hold him responsible for?

What did you like from the coaching staff this week, particularly from the offensive coaching staff?
