Here’s how one sided it gets with these commentators and analysts.
The other day I was listening to the so called experts trashing Mike McCarthy in Dallas for not being able to win in the playoffs. Oh he’s one and done.
Got me to thinking about about Tomlin and is that not the knock on him? Can’t win in the playoffs but always the same bs that’s he’s this great coach. And Mike will leave when Mike wants to leave.
Talk about favoritism and overlooking ones weakness while piling on the other guy. Total bs and I’m ******* sick of it. Why does Tomlin always get a pass?

That’s an old clip from 2016 but, obviously a lot in that clip still rings true today.
The real news would be to play that clip live to Terry Bradshaw and then ask him the same question.
Does anyone here think that Coach Tomlin has done enough to alter Terry’s thinking from then to now ?

On today's broadcast JJ said there have been grumblings in town about Tomlin, and that basically fans are stupid and don't know how lucky they are to have a guy that can win 10 games a year.

Game was over mid-way through the 1st quarter as they had 13 and we finished the game with 10, lol. Another unprepared start. Make it stop please.

It's actually three years, not two. He was already contracted for 2024 and given a three year extension, so his contract runs to end of 2027.

He’s very,very involved in the draft and FA so these are his players. He hired the assistants and coordinators. He’s involved heavily in this defense and has his fingers in to he offense.
Tomlin wanted draft picks like Kenny, Najee, Bush, Edmunds, Jarvis Jones, Broderick Jones, etc.
Tomlin has harvested horrible personalities like AB, Deonte Johnson, Martavis Bryant, and now Pickens.
He’s never ever on a hot seat always knowing his job is secure and all that’s required is a non losing season it seems.
This has now gotten absurd and the fans need to let their displeasure be known.

And one of the more predictable events, is the Steelers aren't scoring a touchdown on their first offensive drive of the game. Today was apparently their 18th successive game without a touchdown on the opening drive, and last year it took them until November to score on an opening drive. They also had a 23 game run of opening drives without a touchdown in 2019/2020.
Steelers are 25th this year on points per game in the first quarter and 31st in points conceded per game in the first quarter, so not only do they sputter on offence early, they crap out on defence too (remind anyone of anything - like maybe their last four or five playoff appearances).

Good that *** hat has gotten filthy rich off of nothing but bullshit talking points. All he can do is spit out useless cliches. In three games we went from a two game lead with four games to go to a wild card team with one game to go and some people are ok with that because we have another non losing season under our belt. I love this damn team but I have about come to my end of watching this **** show.
I went to my sons for Christmas dinner today, we NEVER miss watching a game together, Today he was yelling hey dad the game is about to start when I said yeah I'm busy with Colt Man, (my 5 year old grandson) missed all but the last 30 seconds of the first QTR and couldn't have cared less.
I really am starting to feel like we are turning into a factory of sadness. Looking forward to watching the Lions beat the Bills in the SB.

Why Tomlin gets a pass has been stated a million times….no losing seasons!
McCarthy is on the verge of coaching his second losing season with the Cowboys.
Both Mikes have similar stats in two areas.
McCarthy is in his 18th year as HC. (GB and Dal). He’s 11-11 in the playoffs…..174 total wins 110 losses.
5 losing seasons.
Tomlin in his 18th year as HC. He’s 10-8 in the playoffs…he’s 183 -105 W/L.
0 losing seasons!

Whats tiresome is all of your name calling and acting like you are a football God. Every person on this board has a right to their own opinion about any coach or player. Maybe you are happy as a pig eating **** with the non-losing season crap and all the Tomlin speak, good for you but a lot of us here are not, many of us are old enough to remember when Wining in the playoffs was actually a good thing and was expected.
Every thread it seems you are being a dick to someone, maybe you should seek some help for your anger issues.
I'll tell you where McCarthy becomes important. The Packers win that game but when it was time to move on they did. Now they are a legit contender and here we are a couple weeks from groundhog day for the too manyith time in a row. People always say If Tomlin was a available he would be snapped up in a second. Yeah he would for Stealers Wheels Stuck in the middle.
