Trade Deadline

The question to ask is this team, say with the addition of Sutton, should he become available, a contender to still be playing in February?
If the answer is no, is the draft capital given up worth maybe winning 1 playoff game?

I do not want them too trade for a WR. Not at this point.
But if they were to get solid depth at OL, DL, or CB. That might make more sense.
I base this on GP not getting injured because as just a fan I can do so.

I’m not getting my hopes up. We’re all wishing for the new Transformer under the Christmas tree but it’s gonna be a Go Bot.
like hoping for levi's and getting a pair of ToughSkins instead and you had to walk straight legged.

I've been here with that thought a lot. They are not breaking any bank on a trade should they make one. No one left to. With Russ at this point they look to be in real contention to win playoff game. Win one......you are real. Think if it presents and you wouod improve this year's roster. You don't have much choice.

Less than 24 hours and not much to make a deal for

Interesting that I see Young in Carolina mentioned but there's no way they'd trade him already. Right?

I would take metcalf out of everyone mentioned to this point. If DK and Russ have a good relationship could be an easy transition. Sutton would be my second choice. I do not think Meyers is really that good.

You should probably just pack it in until he is gone, save all of us the trouble of putting you on ignore.

I don't believe that Omar sucks, but johnsteeler is not completely off base in this specific criticism of him.

The likes of the Chiefs, Bills and Ravens have all made moves to improve at the WR position, while the Steelers have done nothing, while supposedly trying to do so for the better part of a year now.

Perhaps Austin and Jefferson continue to play well enough with Russell Wilson at QB to make it a moot point, but it would be nice to have someone with a bit more pedigree behind Pickens.

I don’t believe he sucks either, but we also don’t know what their thought process and actions have been either.

This also doesn’t mean that the Steeler front office hasn’t made repeated attempts that have not worked out

Improvement is always the way to go, but it takes a willing partner to make the deal.
