Mitchell will be under center Sunday.
Mason will get a hat.
Mason will get a hat.
Good thing we don't throw across the middle then. Both look like **** throwing across the middle. At least Mason can connect on the deep ball. 5 wide! (someone here used to say that)
To overcome immobility you have to be able to have a quick release, squeeze it accurately in between tight windows, and be able to feel the pressure in the pocket while maneuvering to avoid incoming traffic.Even if one believes Rudolph is the better option, putting his immobile self in this week is basically signing his death warrant (particularly in a Canada offense). I think it has to be Trubs this week for no other reason than mobility.

Meatloaf says 0 out of 3 is ba a a add.
Exactly… you wouldn’t want to bring in late career Ben to run this O either… unless you absolutely hated him and wanted him punishedEven if one believes Rudolph is the better option, putting his immobile self in this week is basically signing his death warrant (particularly in a Canada offense). I hope you are wrong but I will say after watching Stroud just pick our defense apart in what, his 3rd start, I was very disappointed at what our first round QB looked like. He did have his best NFL game vs the Raiders so hopefully this was just one step back and next game will be 2 steps forward.Interesting fact
Mitch Trubisky has thrown for 6 td in a game,
2 more than Kenny has thrown all season.
1 less Than kenny threw all of last season.
Mitch is obviously not the future I'm hoping he plays well enough to show everyone Kenny isn't either
Shocker here. Nobody realizes you are down on Kenny. Wow learn something every day.I hope you are wrong but I will say after watching Stroud just pick our defense apart in what, his 3rd start, I was very disappointed at what our first round QB looked like. True but did you look at the plays being called by the opposing OC? I said this a couple of times yesterday. Canaduh has no clue what he's doing or how to help his young QB. He had no idea how to handle a HOF QB either. Stroud's pass plays were quick and used most of the field (even a nice 20-yard pass to the TE down the middle). Some will say Stroud works through his progressions but that was rarely the case. He almost always threw to the guy he was staring at - the first read. He had to get the ball out quickly as they knew he had a terrible OL in front of him. The OC made the adjustments needed. Then, you look at our plays and they are high school in comparison. Canaduh is clueless in all aspects. Stroud's WR's were wide-open on most of his throws as well. That sure helps.I hope you are wrong but I will say after watching Stroud just pick our defense apart in what, his 3rd start, I was very disappointed at what our first round QB looked like. I am not defending Matt Canada. But I did again see several plays where Kenny missed the open man. If Kenny had a better grasp on route combinations and didn't get happy feet I honestly think our offense would be middle of the pack. Certainly not where we need it to be. But definitely not as bad. Stoud just seems to see the field better, had better anticipation, and threw a more accurate ball. There's going to be growing pains with a young QB. I am hoping the raiders game wasn't a fluke because he took steps forward and not because of how bad the raiders are. There's blame to go around. Tomlin, Austin, Rooney, Canada, and Pickett.True but did you look at the plays being called by the opposing OC? I said this a couple of times yesterday. Your hopes all revolve around the players? The trends of this team paint a different picture.Interesting fact

The Lord Jesus Christ could not execute that play book.I think they should suit up Canada at QB and make him go execute his crappy plays.
I agree and didn't think you were defending Canaduh. I just think the other, very young, OC is doing a much better job with what he has and obviously had a much better game plan to start with. KP did miss an open guy in the endzone on the one play but he was also about to get hit and may not have seen him break open behind the multiple rows of plays between him and the corner of the endzone. I think it was Heyward that might have ended up free in the corner but it was too late. Everyone and I mean everyone has known the plays we are running for the past 3 years since Canaduh took over. There is just no way he should still have a job and this week truly highlighted that fact.I am not defending Matt Canada. But I did again see several plays where Kenny missed the open man. We have a lot of subpar to mediocre coaches and starters. I agree. I think that is what this team has become. Average. I just have learned to be very blunt about my position. Because the people who venomously attack Canada will vehemently defend Pickett. Canada is the new scapegoat for the teams problems. Canada isn’t a good OC. A dead legged Ben Roethlisberger could barely make the offense move. 10+ years ago Ben would have made him look competent. But what he does every other team does as well. Just more effectively. Canada is uninspiring. But if KP hits his 5-6 misses a game maybe the offense would be competitive enough. Not enough to save Canadas job but enough to steal a few more wins. So at the end of the day we have a mediocre HC, OC, DC, OL Coach, OL play, QB play, and owner. There’s plenty of blame to go around.I agree and didn't think you were defending Canaduh.
