Duane played just down the road from me at Bullis in HS. My son competed against the kid who replaced Duane at Bullis. I'd like to see Haskins succeed, I just don't think he will. Sadly.

if he does, that's only good for the team. That means he raised his game.

I’m guessing 10-12? He probably seen a better shot at starting here vs the Giants.

good. i'll take it. not my first choice, but, i'm willing to see what he has while NOT playing for a nightmare of an offense under nagy. an ideal bridge guy, and i'm very relieved the steelers didn't become enamored with someone among this coming draft class.

That'd be great but he showed nothing last year. He looked good in shorts and everyone anointed him ahead of Rudolph but when he got in a preseason game against mostly 2nd and 3rd string guys, he looked terrible.

I hope either Davis or Penning drops to 20, but if both are gone and Williams is there at 20? Hell yes. Watching what Chase did to defenses changed how I view elite WR's, I admit it.

Trubisky at least has potential. Garoppolo has never done anything but be below average. Also keeps our draft picks. I much prefer Trubisky signing over trading for anyone that was on the block.
Umm.....we have Matt Canada and his AWEfense...and a ****** O-Line. Mitch was competing with Ben for awhile for taking the most sacks (see below). I'm hopeful he finds a home here, but he isn't stepping into a well-oiled machine by any stretch.
Will pray that he is entering his prime, the game has slowed down for him, the O-line is shored up, and Matt Canada finds a brain.
He's just a potential stopgap. They weren't getting him as our next franchise QB unless some miracle happens. Same goes for Rudolph or Haskins. They just bought some time to build the team and draft a QB in a year or two.
So this will be Tomlin's first losing season .
