He is one of the few that can get this country back on track economically and with the lack of respect other countries show toward us. I would actually much rather have someone who is not a politician. We need a true leader and he definitely is one. Even those that don't like him must admit he is a leader.

Rand is almost as extreme as his father. Rand wants to gut the military and pull out of anything that has to do with the rest of the world. That kind of view is beyond naive.

The Patriot Act was ruled to be constitutional. Sure, it could be modified but having the tools to keep this country safe is much better than losing what some call a tiny bit of liberty. You have no liberty if the country isn't safe. Safety is number 1 in my book. As soon as ISIS has their first large attack on our homeland, and they will, all those Rand lovers will be hiding with their tales between their legs.

I would still probably vote Rand over Hillary but it would be a tough choice. I just think Rand is that extreme. I don't want anyone left or right to be that extreme. He has no chance of getting the nomination with his recent rants so I shouldn't have to make that call come election time. He'll run independent like his dad did and ruin the GOP's chance of winning the election. I can definitely see him doing that. His ego is as big, if not bigger than Trumps.

I'll vote Walker, Rubio, Carson, Trump, Fiorina, Bush, and almost any other over Rand. Again, he is way too extreme for me and would make this country way more vulnerable than Clinton did and now Odumma has. We just can't have that. The number 1 duty of the President is to keep the country safe. Without that, nothing else will matter.

You have negative knowledge of what you are talking about. Non-interventionist foreign policy is not the same as isolationism. And the fact of the mater is the domestic spying and infringements of personal liberty and individual rights codified into law in the patriot act caught ZERO terrorists and actually allowed some terror attacks to occur(Boston Marathon Bombing ring a bell). We are spending our selves into oblivion on objectiveless war that is actually creating more terrorists. The USA could cut our defense budget in half and still out spend more than the 5 countries with the next largest defense budgets combined. Those 5 countries are all our allies by the way. I think we would be much safer if we pulled all our troops out of Korea, Germany, Okinawa and the myriad other places where we have troops stationed and secured our borders with them rather than enforcing a defacto empire with them.

ISIS isn't taking over the U.S. The entire reason they exist is because Bush took out a strong man in the middle east and didn't replace him with one. Then Obama pulled out like a rock star at a two dollar ***** house. BHO then said Assad had to go. He's still there because ISIS is one of many faction fighting against him. Then the O administration, along with Billary, allowed Kadafi to be taken out along with several other leaders during the Arab Spring. It's was going to be great.

The fact is that all this started because of U.S. intervention. Bush should have left it alone. Iraqi was a hedge against Iran because SH was a minority in his own country. We could use him as a proxy against Iran. Now the majority of Iraqi is of the same mind set as the Iranians. The best thing to do now is to find another Hussein and let him take over.
