wonder how much $$$$incerity that cost the GOP.
I totally understand why Trump is wildy popular on this board.
Given the lack of credible opponents in the GOP field, I even understand how Trump secured the Republican nomination.
But for the life of me, I can't understand how any of you seriously think Trump can win a general election in this country. It just blows my mind, given the electorate around the nation. The numbers just don't add up, not by a wide margin. This is what we'll be watching between now and November....
Yes, that is correct....you're still asking yourself how this could be happening???
Indy, sorry I let you get under my skin. That post I wrote to you was crass and unneccesary, my apologies.I just call it as I see it.
Yes, that is correct.
Yes, that is correct.Tibs, you were posting stuff a month ago about how Trump was going to find a way to "pull out" of the race, weren't you?
There has been a school of thought throughout - coming from both the right and the left - that perhaps Donald's heart wasn't really in this thing. That his emergence as front runner took him by surprise as much as it did everyone else. There have been times when he's stumbled so bad, be it at the Washington Post round table few weeks back, where again, close observers simply questioned his general knowledge and mental fortitude to see this thing through. I think those questions are legitimate and will remain all the way through the election. The notion that he's been looking for a way out, again, has been well documented going back months and months. He's dropped hints along the way, for those paying attention. Unless something unexpected happens, it seems pretty clear he's gonna carry on at this stage, for the better or worse.Perhaps you should begin investigating the accuracy of the news sources you rely on and post here so frequently, no?

Sure thing, have at it. Why is it so troubling to vet and be critical, analytical regarding a presidential candiate? If he's got nothing to hide, why so worried?I suggest we implement the same approach for the writers who have posited all sorts of crazy-*** **** about Trump (he is not serious about the run, he is going to pull out, he is a closet Democrat, he is out to destroy America, whatever) and treat them with the disdain they have earned. Fair request, no?
No mention of the recording of Trump pretending to be his own publicist "John Miller" and bragging about having multiple girlfriends.
If you heard the Today Show interview with Trump this morning you know it's Trump. He says "I don't THINK it's me" and pressed on it "I don't THINK it's me" and when pressed again, finally a definitive but defensive "it's not me... and really, it's from 25 years ago..."
Supposedly, he already admitted to it years ago, but insisted it was some kind of joke.
How does this kind of over the top narcissistic, ego-maniacal behavior not concern Trump supporters? I mean, who does something like that and what else is he capable of? Psychologically, this man is not right.
I hope The Donald brings up Watergate. Early glimpse of how Hillary works. She was fired from the House Judiciary Committee Watergate investigation team -POW!
Bob Woodward Compares Hillary Scandal to Watergate
Hillary Clinton’s e-mail scandal has been a difficult one for the public to understand and for journalists to explain. But Bob Woodward, the Washington Post reporter who helped uncover Watergate 40 years ago, clarified things a lot on Fox News Sunday today when he said that an e-mail in the most recently released batch shows Hillary trying to “subvert the rules” that she expected others to follow.
The latest batch contains 66 additional examples of classified material that ended up on Hillary’s server, bringing the total to more than 1,200. This demolishes Hillary’s claim that she didn’t send or receive classified material on her personal account.
Bob Woodward said the latest revelation about Hillary’s e-mails reminded him of Watergate. He recalled that Hillary served on the staff of the House impeachment committee investigating President Nixon. “And what was the lesson, one of the lessons from that?” he asked. “Never write anything down. . . . Here, many years later, she’s saying, ‘Oh, let’s subvert the rules,’ and writing it out herself?” He concluded: It shows that she kind of feels immune, that she lives in a bubble and no one’s ever going to find this out. Well, now we have.

She has always been consistent in these qualities. from - http://nation.foxnews.com/2014/02/2...thical-behavior-congressional-job-former-boss“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”
It's from the 70's and sounded nothing like Trump. Even if it was him, who cares. He is no more narcissistic than any politician, including Hilldog and Bern, out there.
It would kind of comical if Bernie was a narcissist, but I agree that he is not. He's just incredibly stupid.Check your math, it's from the early 90's. It sounded like a younger Trump, and his denial was one of a person trying to deny something without officially denying it. It's him, no doubt in my mind.
He's narcissistic to the point of mental illness. As far as Bernie, he might be a lot of things, he's NOT narcissistic.
The recording sounds like Trump. I think it's funny. Who gives a ****? He was clowning around.
