Trump has said repeatedly that he is being audited by the IRS (coincidence?) and that his attorney has advised him not to release the records until the audit is over. He said he would go against the advice of his attorney and release them early if Hillary releases the 30,000 emails that she deleted.

Because if it shows he made a lot of money then Hildebeast will say "Trump is for the rich!" (while ignoring the fact that she is rich too) and if it shows he didn't make a lot of money Hildebeast will say "Trump is an idiot who loses money". Trump loses either way so the best thing to do is say nothing.

If Trump would have released his returns long ago all this stuff would have blown over if there was anything bad. Now it is an issue for almost 70% of the people close to election time. Trumps son did say they pay a ton of federal taxes as well as other taxes, but if that is the case then I dont see a problem releasing them.

No ****. Make it a thing close to the election. Smart. WTF..

There is nothing more American than following the tax code. BTW we had record tax receipts in 2015, and more people on food stamps than ever before. Whatever we are using those taxes for, it ain't working. Even still, Trump is for reforming the tax code to close the very loopholes he used. You wanna talk about about the messed up tax code, let's go! You are talking to a guy who knows where the loopholes are!

It's not like he did his own taxes. He had a team of lawyers and accountants prepare them and create endless paper trails for auditors.

He suddenly wants to change the tax code and close the loopholes? What a coincidence! He's pretty much saying, "What I did was immoral and wrong, but perfectly legal until proven otherwise." Sleazeball.

It's real simple why he won't release. Because his return will not be understood by most people. He's not filing like a normal person. Many rich people pay little in their own personal income tax. That is because they pay different taxes.

Hillary is a politician and they planned on showing her taxes so they engineered her taxes to look a certain way.

Trump is a business man. If he releases a tax form, the media will only focus on the income tax and say he pays too little, what a scam artist. Of course, he may have paid the government millions in other taxes but that would be ignored.

That's why so many famous people have foundations. So they can hide their money and avoid taxes. I guarantee the Clintons came up with a number that would look good on a tax form and then told their accountants to make it come out to that amount.

If Trump had planned on running years ago, he could have easily arranged to have a phony tax return as well. But he didn't so he only has a real tax return which would be intentionally misrepresented by the media as him paying no taxes.

No, you dumbfuck, he is not saying what he did was immoral and wrong. It is not even worth arguing with you and your kind. Your arguments are completely imaginary.

His opponent is scum of the earth who if she was anyone else would be behind bars right now. Nothing Trump can do or say will change that fact. Nothing! Her deplorable meter is 12 on a scale of 1-10. She is the standard. Bravo to the socialist democrat party. She's a true poster child for your party. Corrupt demented power hungry elitist .
Maybe she should do an advertisement on her husband and how he has treated women his entire life and how they both went after his victims. What dirtbags.

This. How we can be taxed so much and still have a what...19 TRILLION dollar debt (which will keep growing and growing) floors me.

Trump will be in the Pittsburgh area on October 10 at Ambridge High School at 3:30pm. Just got my tickets.
Beaver County representin'.

Lyndon Johnson sucked. Just saying.

LOL! Funny how you got just as defensive as Trump did.

It should be a simple argument for you. Why close the loopholes if they aren't immoral and wrong?

This isn't a loophole, it's a tax shelter that isn't even his money. He didn't have $1 billion to lose in the 80s. It will look very bad if the details come out.

Here's Mark Cuban explaining it on Fox News:

That return was from '95 and Cuban is a Hillary munching stooge. He has a grudge against Trump because when his show couldn't beat The Apprentice and got canceled Trump sent him a "consolation" letter that was the equivalent of telling him to **** off. lmao.

FU Cuban!.jpg

So the 'bombshell" is a figment of little Markie's imagination.

It seems that Cuban’s business possibly did something similar to what Trump is accused of—claiming millions in losses to offset future taxation.

In 1998, Broadcast.com, a company that Cuban was both President and Chairman of the Board of at the time, claimed loss carryforwards of more than $10 million for 1997.

From the Form S-1 filed by BROADCAST.COM INC.:

“5. INCOME TAXES

As of December 31, 1997, the Company has available net operating loss carryforwards totaling approximately $10,269,000 which expire beginning in 2011. Utilization of net operating loss carryforwards may be limited by ownership changes which may have occurred or could occur in the future.”

The law at the time allowed loss carryforwards, like the $10 million from Broadcast.com, to count against future taxation for up to 15 years, meaning Cuban could have claimed losses to reduce future taxation for several years, effectively the same thing Trump is being accused of.

Broadcast.com was later sold to Yahoo! for 5.6 billion dollars in 1999.

There is nothing illegal about what either Trump or Cuban may have done. Some Trump supporters have not denied, but rather accepted and celebrated Trump’s tax break, such as Rudy Giuliani, who called Trump a “genius” for avoiding taxes.

Ironically, Cuban spoke out against the tradition of candidates being expected to release their tax returns in February, saying, “My taxes are none of your business.”

Cuban is a first rate douchebag. I did not know about that incident but i had assumed his opposition to Trump was personal. I believe many of these so called powerful business people who are against Trump, are against him because of personal reasons. Either Trump beat them in a deal or they thought he slightted them in some way, etc.

Cuban made his fortune by stealing. He came up with a way to stream radio over the internet so you could listen to stations far away. He then sold that to Yahoo for like a billion $ and then it was pretty much declared illegal because they were stealing from these radio stations.

i would not be surprised if there is some guy who actually did all the coding work for the streaming who Cuban screwed over.
