You gotta love Stephen King...

I hope this doesn't damage the Donald's self esteem too much.

Donald Trump Gets Endorsed by National Black Republican Association

We, the grassroots activists of the National Black Republican Association, are pleased to announce our endorsement of Donald J. Trump for President of the United States of America.

As citizens who happen to be black, we support Mr. Trump because he shares our values. We, like Mr. Trump, are fiscally conservative, steadfastly pro-life and believers in a small government that fosters freedom for individuals and businesses, so they can grow and become prosperous.

We are deeply concerned about illegal immigration, a major cause of high black unemployment, especially among black youth.

meanwhile, Bernie is still looking for a black friend

I know we as conservatives are hungry for someone who speaks the truth, someone who tells it like it is, someone who will stand up for us and not be afraid of offending those who disagree with us. I understand the appeal of Trump to some, I really do. I just wish the person who came along with some of his positive qualities also happened to be someone who was knowledgeable, articulate, inspiring, well-versed on conservative ideals, a good person, respectful, not a big joke or carnival sideshow, someone people could really look up to. Trump is just not that person. Not sure who is exactly, but for me he definitely isn't.

When Stephen King speaks...he can't come up with a good ending.

As a once, long time reader of his (God, how many did I read?), I find this comical. Man can really spin a story. Just can't finish it.

I view his opinions on politics like I view Tibs'. Worthless.

Trump deciding to bring Sarah Palin on board is really a turning point. He's a ******* to begin with, but adding Palin to the mix is beyond reason. The fact that he'd stand there on stage with her, and consider this a boost to his campaign, really puts things into perspective. If this **** doesn't piss you off, the crap she pulled blaming Obama for her son's PTSD...I've got nothing for you. All the while Trump stands there squirming and nodding like an idiot, like the complete buffoon that he is. Sarah Palin and Donald Trump, two peas in a pod. May God have mercy on us.

McCain's poll numbers went UP after he put Palin on the ticket.

And it put him on the straight & narrow right to the White House didn't it? A similiar ending is in the cards for Mr. Trump.

I'd take a wild guess that about 10-15% of the population actually support this type of craziness and idiocy. Maybe a bit more if you add in the SN members from this board.

I don't think so, it was because he wasn't Conservative enough. I only voted for McCain because Palin was the VP and he was old and might die.

We'll see. Lotta people are on board with building a serious wall on the Mexican border and a moratorium on letting Muslims into the country. I'm good with it but then I think we should drop a nuclear bomb on Mecca every day for a week.

One of the rare times Trump actually made sense and spoke with reason.

I'm not terrified of jack ****. I hate loudmouth, racist, bigoted bullies like Trump ...

Uhhhhm, Tibs, do you see why I quoted two of your comments, made in close temporal proximity???

It amazes me how people confuse ENDORSEMENT with "I have chosen Palin to be my VP." I see it on FB...the sheer idiocy of the left. Their heads are exploding with memes about Trump choosing Palin. We wonder why this country is going down the tubes. People don't (or can't) research and think for themselves.

Wait...Trump is picking Palin for VP???..AHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Of course he hasn't chosen her as VP, who's saying that? The endorsement in itself is a clear indication Trump is doubling-down on basing his candidacy on far-far-right values. I think it's great. It provides much needed clarity to the values Trump is now openly claiming as his own.

It would be easy to dismiss the endorsement of Donald Trump by Sarah Palin as one more segment in a rambunctious satire of a reality TV show. After all, who could possibly take seriously Palin's bizarre, meandering speech this week throwing her support behind Trump?

Much of the left and even the insider DC conservative movement may sneer at Palin's endorsement of Trump, but she appeals to all three segments of the Tea Party and populist right that Bill Fletcher Jr. identifies. Her pronouncements resonate with the narrative within the minds of the neo-Confederate electorate.

Palin teaming up with Trump should not be complacently dismissed as a farce by those who support an inclusive, equitable, diverse democracy free of racism. The pairing is a consistent affirmation of Trump's thuggish, racist and xenophobic campaign that has ignited many supporters of the neo-Confederate right.

I KNOW he hasn't chosen her to be VP. She ENDORSED him. But there are plenty of dumbasses out there who think Trump DID pick her as VP. Trust me. My FB and Twitter feeds are FULL of them.

You just proved my point, Tibs.

I still think if he wins the primaries he'll pick Cruz for his VP.

Tibs:

So Trump revealed his overarching racism by writing a book that said good things about the FBP?

Did I get that right?

No, I posted the pro-Obama stuff he wrote because it shows, yet again, how Trump twists and bends his political views to suit his needs and desires at any given time. Bedding down with Sarah Palin is the most recent example.

His bigoted, xenophobic, racists views are another matter. Perhaps he's not a racist at heart, but feels he needs to project as such to continue getting the 'angry, white' vote and keep his poll numbers strong with the pro-Trump crazies.

Tibor,

This is where you lose credibility with me. Do you really consider me a thuggish, racist, xenophobic, thug that is part of the Neo Confederate right?

Time, and time again, you, yourself, admonish others of being hateful, yet you post the most vile and hateful rhetoric from far left wing hate merchants.

I remember the exact moment the Tea Party started because my father called me and said turn on CNBC, Rick Santelli was going in an epic rant about having a new Tea Party in Chicago at the Mercantile Exchange. I know my fathers heart, he is not any of the things that you accuse the Tea Party of, nor is he stupid or gullible.

Do you think I am stupid and gullible?

For far too long this country has become more and more polarized.

Now we have a candidate who is not only hated on the far left, but is hated by the far right.

This candidate draws support from working class Republicans and Democrats who want jobs and feel opportunity in this country slipping away.

Donald Trump did not bring us a 19 Trillion dollar debt, nor a ridiculous budget full of unfunded mandates that will soon push the debt to 23 Trillion dollars. He was not the one who for decades has refused to enforce immigration laws on the books, or reinforce a porous border. He was not the one who authorized a costly war in Iraq nor the abandonment of hard fought gains. He did not create the vacuum that created ISIS.

All of those problems were created by the entrenched Washington bureaucrats, the Republicrats of the Uniparty, many of whom were elected and reelected on promises to do something about it. Yet all we ever get is empty promises followed by fundraising letters.

Now they want us to vote for their candidates again. Talk about stupid and gullible.

When government becomes unresponsive to we the people, the the dissent comes next in the form of populism.

The Republican party has a clear front runner, a front runner who draws 20% of his support from Democrats and who draws in more Hispanic support than Jeb, Rubio, and Cruz combined, a candidate who could very well win NY, all it would take is a minor shift of votes in NYC, where the front runner lives.

This support epitomizes what the Republican Party leadership has long called the big tent.

So what does the RNC do?

Well, they try to take him out, of course.

Why? because he is not one of them and he threatens their livelihood. They say he can't win, yet they can't seem to find a candidate to beat him and the Entrenched Republicrats are freaking out.

Look out, here comes the kitchen sink in the form of the National Review. Unfortunately for them it only reinforces the image of the outsider, in the year of the outsider.

In two weeks both national parties will have a front runner who is an outsider. I relish the opportunity to have a national debate on ideas that are not clouded by politically correct pap. All the PC culture does is limit debate by shutting down speech.

6 out of the 10 wealthiest counties in the USA are on the small parcels of land that border our nations capital, Washington DC. That is not government of the people, by the people, and for the people, that's Panem.

It is time to pull the plug and drain the swamp that DC is built on.

Stop the madness, stop the hate, and vote for opportunity.

It starts in 10 days.

It is not a neo confederacy, it is democracy in a constitutional republic.

Right on baby! Screw minorities and wimmen! Runnin' the stars and bars up the flag pole right now. 'Murica!........What a bunch of leftist crap, Tibs. At least make an attempt at not being completely ******* brain washed.

Tibs' convictions are apparently those of the convenient variety.

Reposted for truth. I would point to the word "waffling."

However, he is consistent in his hatred for the Right. He loves any Left front-runner and will defend their racism, illegalities, theft, Anti-Americanism, and corruption to the death though. He's consistent there.
