Tuitt Retired

please don't type your messages like this

using this to defeat the censoring is frowned upon
Ohhh. It's "frowned upon". I see. Hopefully no one's fragile fanny was offended by my oversight. I wouldn't want a #metoo complaint.

the thing is that Leal is a tweener, he'll need 20 more pounds of strength to be useful against the run. I see Loudermilk clearly ahead of him on base formations
He already put on the pounds. Not that I think he will be ready. I see him as a situational pass rusher year 1.

I didn't like you calling the man a pu$$y. But I know you are an attention ***** so it isn't unexpected.

He is moving on, as many players do earlier than expected. Can't fault him or call him names for it. Wish him well and let him and the team move on. It's what classy Steeler fans should do.

Tomlin should have know. So should have Heyward. Did they tell the team? Nope. I wish Tuitt good luck and thank him for the service. I've been thinking his absence from OTT's was no accident and we can use the cap space he occupied. (8+million)

And you know this how,oh wise one? Seriously.

douche you are hanging on by a thread

banned members are not allowed to re-register without being banned again

just do as asked and stop being a ********

His retirement was the best case scenario for the Steelers parting ways with him. Now, if they so choose, thet can recoup the 2.6 million dollar pro rated signing bonus. This would drop the cap hit a million.3 this year and next

Im not saying they will do it, but its a slam dunk if they do.

Players aren’t entitled to the bonus money if they don’t honor the length it was signed for

Cookie - is his warning for "defeating the censoring" forthcoming or is this another case of it only being frowned upon when it's not your buddies doing it?

Please advise.

Sorry Bob I just wanted you to know what nicknames fit you, I didn't want you to have to guess.

Wow. That really was a good one, sashasteel. You're definitely the thinker type. Got me reeeal good.

But seriously, is anyone else like f'n derrrrrr when reading this guy's posts?'

They did...

See the Aggie linemen on roster....not to mention Lowdermilk last season to an extent..

BTW---Lowdermilk is going to make everyone forget about Tuitt this season.
Picking guys in rounds 3 and later is not really planning. It is hoping the project turns into a backup and maybe even a starter. Tuitt was the only DL picked in the top 2 rounds since 2014. Sorry, but that isn't planning and it isn't good. Moving up to get Davis or taking another DL in the 1st 2 rounds would have been planning. They are hoping.

I can cut the thread and put you outside the door again

or you can stop being a douchebag

File this under "Least Surprising News of the Day".

Did anyone really think he was coming back after sitting out last season? and then selling his house?

Doesn't want to play anymore. It happens. I don't want to come back to this office every week either. But since I don't have Tuitt Money, I'll be here next week reading a post about breaking news on the Steeler front, only to see the entire thread turn into yet another display of monkeys throwing poop at each other.

Tuitt could have been one of the really good ones. sucks he went out like this. But you never know what is in another person's heart.

Timing could have been better but at least it is before training camp

The Steelers probably knew this and waited till today to allow the retirement to happen. At least now there’s no question of what Tuitt is going to do. Good luck with your life’s work Stefan
Radio reporting they save more money against the cap by waiting until today.
With all due respect though, I don't make millions of dollars and when my dad died last year except for the day of his funeral I worked half days all week because I had work to do and other people depending on me.

He got a free years salary then quit on the team. Glad he is gone. Bet there isn't a single person on this site that hasn't suffered a tragedy. But we all had to be adults and move on.
I have never had someone I was that close to hit and killed in a hit and run with the driver never being caught. On the other hand I have seen a close friend lose a son in tragic car accident and totally withdraw from life for 8 years only now starting to live again. I have total sympathy for him and no ill will for him or the way the Steelers handled it. It is the way it should be handled.

I agree with the earlier post that Tuitt probably played because he could more so than he wanted to and this made him realize the sport wasn’t his best path. He was a good player for the team and seemed well liked by his teammates. I wish Tuitt the best with whatever is ahead.

I also think the team likes Wormley more than fans. Add in Alualu coming back andLoudermilk flashing potential, they potentially have some pieces moving forward.

How would they do that when he wasn't available?

I think you derrrrrr when you try to read in general. As none of your Steelers replies scream high intelligence doofus.
