We are being badly misled about the Ukraine-Russia war

The UK, France and Canada are hardly world superpowers. That’s ridiculous on its face. No one fears France or Canada, and the only reason any nation might hesitate with the UK is the United States of America. France, Germany, Canada and a variety of other nations have no real military power to speak of. They rely on us for their defense. It’s how they fund their welfare states that liberals love so much.
 
Hell, the last time I worked with the Canadian Army they were still using our old CUCV’s and Blazers. World superpower. Lol.

Zelensky is a much better human being than either Trump or Putin. You’re just easily manipulated by authoritarians.
 
Yeah, Zelensky's a great guy. Instead of facing reality that this war is stalemate and we are at the point of negotiating the end, he wants to keep conscripting his citizens and throwing them into a meat grinder just so the checks keep coming.

Please tell me what else can be accomplished for Ukraine by continuing this fight without the US or NATO putting boots on the ground to fight.

The second thing that makes further funding this debacle is that winning a war breaks down to two things: 1 material 2 manpower. Yep. Repeatedly breaking treaties to advance NATO eastward has backed Russia into a corner. After that, they needed a puppet that would be willing to sacrifice his nation while enriching himself in order to execute the proxy war against Russia. Zelenskyy has proven to be a most loyal lapdog.

Troops is non-negotiable. It’s really not our fight. I know Putin is the left’s favorite boogeyman outside of Trump, but he is completely surrounded by NATO countries. There is no way we would stand for having Russian or Chinese troops and missiles in Canada, Mexico or any other Central American nation. His excuse of rooting out nazi’s or whatever was bunk. He’s looking for a buffer against NATO and he went after the one non-NATO country on his border.

Zelinsky appears to be backtracking a bit, thanked the US on X yesterday, and wants to do a mineral deal with the US.
Amazing what a couple days passing will do to the news coverage of this, going from the nation should be ashamed of Trumps behavior, to he played Zelinsky like a fool.
Well, they probably won't go that far, likely just ignoring the story all together.
