Women's group to fly anti-Roger Goodell banners over NFL stadiums

Wonder who blinks first, the NFL or the RadFem Mafia?

The NFL will donate $5 million to NOW, and all will be forgiven. These feminists groups are all frauds who care about money and nothing else. Goodell should be gone, should've been gone for a litany of reasons a long time ago, but unfortunately, I don't see it happening.

It won't be shown on the broadcasts, but everyone at the stadium will see it, and the news stations will run wild with it.

Let's hope they do!!!

Uh oh. No he's got the gals pissed. See ya Rog.

These banners won't do much, IMO. Until sponsors cave to PR pressure and stop paying the NFL money, nothing will change. All the owners are worried about is that Goodell is making them a lot of money.

I have turned to all games and there has been no mention by the announcers paid by the NFL.

All the pink bullshit next month is going to look doubly stupid if the The Rogmeister is still drawing a paycheck.

Of course not. Lets put it this way the fact that ESPN has been all over RG has been very surprising to me -- but the NFL is not going to mention a thing ..

LOL that is what the average person will think but you forget they think the average person is STUPID

Unless there is a video showing what they are protesting. Goodell will say their message is ambiguous.

They will then use the money to advance pro-lesbian agendas.

I wonder if they're good at making sammiches and ironing shirts

Steelerfan, unfortunately, those aren't the type of lesbians you want to see.

This will put pressure on the owners to seperate themselves from Roger. Owners know the power of the dollar, and many money decisions within families are driven by women.

The problem is, folks like us all keep tuning in to our TV's to watch the games.

You ***** about it, but ultimately you don't care enough to drop the ratings. And that's why Goodell and the league can do whatever they want with the game and we'll all take it like the junkies we are.

Sorry. May be hard to read, but there it is. I didn't turn on the game on Thursday. I read about the score afterward. Subsequently I was saved a tremendous amount of frustration AND was allowed to feel as though I wasn't supporting Goodell and the rest of the NFL for trying to sweep every ******* black spot under the rug rather than dealing with it. If you believe the NFL didn't have those tapes, know exactly what was on them and choose to ignore them in order to preserve the failing image of the NFL and it's players you're flat out crazy. This is just the tip of the iceberg. It's already being pointed out that because of how they've screwed up, Rice is likely going to challenge and he "should" win because of the rules of the CBA. According to ***-Hat attorneys, Rice has a valid argument that he's been fired unfairly after receiving a punishment from the league which the Ravens did NOT increase. Once it's shown that the league had the extra tape their case will likely fall through and the Ravens have already admitted AFTER they fired Rice that he absolutely was truthful with the owners and management about what happened in the elevator. Therefore, even if you hate the guy like polio in children you can't see a legal argument where they can change the punishment later on without reasonable process.

Nope, if Rice can afford a decent lawyer he ought to be able to get his job back and get paid for the rest of the season after 6 weeks, (2 of which are already over...)

The NFL has ****** this up so badly it's practically a 3 stooges reel.

I'm just sick of it. I can only stand so much of that ****. Somebody lies to me long enough and even I can't sit there passively and accept it.

The NFL is dying, as we know it. It started when ONE person was given all the power. The STEELERS voted against the CBA, just for that reason. The "rog" took the power, let it go straight to his head, then showed the world what he truly is. I know some things are out of his hands, but the punishment / fines / sentencing, has been very inconsistent from the get go. What the hell was the destroyed spy gate tapes? The fine(s) lost draft pick? What about a 6 games suspension to a NON-charged QB? 2-game for a knock out, then a 4-game for pot? You see the variances, kinda like I'll just make it up as I go. Roger needs disciplined, to what extent, the OWNERS will have to decide. Will he lose his job, only if it means saving face for the owners. I think some of the things he's done are non reversible, so good luck to the new commissioner, should we get one.

Salute the nation

Wig, I was with you on Thursday night...didn't even turn it on. Most people will compartmentalize this and keep watching, but I'm done with the NFL until Goodell is out. The man's go to go, and this has less to do with Ray Rice than it does with his complete inconsistency and incompetency as a commissioner. I love my Steelers, but I can't watch this league any more...and it is just getting worse with this Adrian Peterson situation...and crickets from the League office.
