William Gay played well and might have made the difference. By the way, not sure what happened to Mitchell late but I thought this was his best game. At least being where he was supposed to be and make some stops.

They showed a stat that said the Steelers lead the league in INT for a TD with 4. Gay has 3 of those.
I promise you that this has to be the truest statement since I've been here.

Gay is the only Steeler to ever have 3 pick 6's in a season.
I think he gets unfairly bagged on here. I've always said he was much improved after returning to the Steelers after a year with the Cards.

He was a late 5th rounder, people always expected him to play like he was a 3rd or better. The guy was a worthy pick back then, but now he is an amazing steal and it was all on his effort cause he isn't getting any younger and faster
Don't know if the NFL will allow you to. Didn't they have some issue with that a few years back? Something to the effect of you couldn't buy a personalized Ravens 52 with Murderer on the back, or a Bengals 85 with Douchebag on it. I believe "Gay" was banned despite there being 2 or 3 players with that surname in the NFL.

I do not think he got unfairly picked on. He was horrible at one point. Like you said ever since he came back he has been solid or better. I thought it was a horrible move to bring him back and glad I am wrong. Hard to say what this team would be like with out him right now.

I thought the EXACT same thing. He did suck before he went to Arizona, he has been great since he returned. I can think of a few players that I would like to send to our farm team and get them back in a couple years if that is how it works!

He has been a very much improved player over the past couple seasons. He kinda reminds me of Deshea Townsend - a character guy who contributes more as a veteran. It is nice to see him shine recently!
