Would Steelers Fans Be Happy Drafting Sam Howell?

I like Howell and am okay with being the second-round pick. I love Matt Corall. A nice combo of a very quick release, a live arm, and good mobility. SEC battle-tested on a less than powerhouse team. I think the Steelers have an interest in Corrall, and the stuff around Howell, and Wills is a smokescreen. I hope he's on the board at pick #20 . I think there's a good chance he'll go to Washington or New Orleans.

Fans don't realize how much last year's Ben held us back. I don't get the knock that he's an RPO guy. He had 2 good years in the SEC, Wills is a major project and Pickett only shined for one season. Yet ,the media is all over both guys. RPO is part of the future of the NFL, and he's very good at it. This doesn't mean he can't be a classic drop-back QB. Those are Wills questions!

Rather take ridder in the second bigger better arm and carried his team to top 4 finish in the fbs only Pickett and Willis are round 1 talent and potential ridder corrall clear rnd 2 Howell seems like a round 3 or really late rnd 2

The knock isn't he's an RPO guy, it's that he's a one read guy. If the first read isn't open, Corral can actually be pretty bad. I also don't think these are smokescreens unless they are changing from their normal philosophy. The Steelers are always transparent when it comes to the draft process. They draft guys in the first from P5 conference and more often than not is someone they spent a lot of time scouting.
