Taxing the mega-rich at the rates that seemed to work just fine during the 50's, 60's and 70's. I also agree with her on climate change, among other things. I don't attest to know her position on all issues, just think it's hilarious how she has the right running for the hills at such an early stage in her career.

I'm becoming more of a Kamala Harris fan nowadays and really like what Ted Lieu, Amy Klobuchar, Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell and Beto O’Rourke stand for.

I'm definitely more in tune with these younger, up and coming democrats than the old wave - ie Biden, Schumer, Hillary et al. Though it has to be said Pelosi is doing a bang up job thus far.

Except at that time there were also a lot more tax deductions available to everyone and very few people, if anyone, paid the very high tax rates on most of their income. The Tax Reform Act of 1986 lowered tax rates across the board but also eliminated a lot of deductions. Prior to that I used to deduct the interest on my car loans and credit cards and I rented and didn't even have a mortgage then.

After further thought, I believe that Occasional Cortex will have a monumental screw-up at some point and won't make it through her two-year term.

Yes...and what exactly do people think, that rich people have all their millions stored in a closet somewhere? No, they are buying things. Building things. Investing in things. Yes, they also indulge in some luxuries and that really chaps some people's *****. But you can't take 70% of their excess income and expect zero negative effects to jobs and the economy.

But he is brutal to ALL, not just women.
He's as blunt as humanly possible.
But he's a stand up guy.
He free-willingly admits when he's wrong and/or when he doesn't know something.
He does NOT believe in BSing.
