I think it’s a bad idea, but when a nation has two groups of people so diametrically opposed to one another on EVERYTHING, the nation probably isn’t going to survive. It’s not just minor little disagreements we’re talking about here. There is stuff that people will never agree about, and the chasm only gets wider by the day.

Plus, members of our own government, media and citizenry do nothing but blame the other side daily. Not a person out there doing a thing to bring people together. Not members of government, not media, not citizens. It’s a slow, ugly death spiral this nation is on, and nobody is doing anything to stop it.

I didn't say that 20% of the country was headed in the wrong direction. I said the country (100% of it) was.

Once again, you miss the point. Gets old having to repeat **** to you, like one has to repeat **** to a toddler until they get it. The point (that you couldn't get if it were stapled to your forehead with a sledgehammer) is that a growing number of Americans are so fed up with this country they want to secede. It's now up to 20% and growing.

That...is....a...big...problem. That is the point.

And you summarized the "point" I was trying to make in short form. That flew right over his head.

  1. We all learn to "just get along" - I don't see that happening. I just don't. To your point, we are irreparably divided.
  2. There is a mutually agreed upon split between states.
  3. Warfare.
Correct me or add options.

Yeah I have no interest in giving up my liberty to placate totalitarian socialists.
So yeah I am happy to widen the chasm between myself and those who think giant intrusive government, grooming kids into tranvestism, normalizing pedophilia, antiwhiteism and destroying the nation via open borders are all good ideas.

I prefer a peaceful seperation but when it comes right down to it I will fight. Death is preferable to slavery and I am descended from men who would not be ruled.
