From NFL.com:
3) Milroe makes noise. No quarterback turned in a narrative-changing showcase performance at the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday, but that doesn't mean there wasn't a possible winner from the event.
Alabama QB
Jalen Milroe has been a polarizing prospect throughout the draft process, and his throwing session on Saturday won't universally draw praise. But there were enough moments from Milroe's day to serve as a reminder that he might be the most tantalizing developmental prospect in a mixed-bag QB class.
Milroe uncorked several quality deep balls during the performance, demonstrating his terrific arm talent. There were some hiccups, too, especially on intermediate throws. Inconsistency was a hallmark of his game during an up-and-down career with the Crimson Tide. But there were enough highs from the session that his stock should be heading back in the right direction following a Senior Bowl week during which he roundly struggled.
Milroe even received another post-Senior Bowl bump with his hand measurement, which was 8 3/4 inches in Mobile and -- apparently -- grew to 9 3/8 inches at the combine. Nine-inch hands are considered the floor for a quarterback by some NFL teams.
During the NFL Network broadcast of Saturday's workouts, NFL Network's Peter Schrager reported that Milroe also interviewed well with NFL teams, potentially boosting his draft standing further now that coaching staffs are getting up to speed on the scouting process.
Milroe said Friday he was considering running the 40-yard dash, but he ultimately opted not to in Indianapolis. He's a phenomenal athlete, so we continue to wonder what his speed might be. Milroe will have another opportunity to display his skills on March 19 at 'Bama's pro day, whether by throwing, running or both.
If Milroe continues to progress after this showing, it's possible he could enter the QB3 conversation after Miami's
Cam Ward and Colorado's
Shedeur Sanders, who did not work out at the combine. (Milroe is currently
ranked fourth among QB prospects by NFL.com's Bucky Brooks.) Also working in Milroe's favor this week: None of the other candidates really made much noise in Indianapolis. Don't rule out Milroe being drafted higher than some might anticipate right now.

I'm still pimpin' Jalen Milroe...
