Early training camp news per reports

Definitely needs to be pushed they just internally need to address getting handsy with the WR coach.

Here is another small report from Thursday.

Absolutely true. Pickens needs to realize they’re trying to get the best out of him. I get frustrations of you aren’t involved in the offense or a QB not getting you the ball, but when a coach is trying to get you to improve take the criticism or feedback and make the most of it without the conflict.

What I read about offense structure sounds very good to me.
1. Movement, multiple fakes. This us why no one was ever 2 or 3 yards open in Canada offense unless someone fell.
2. Multiple TE sets. Will have to be patient but let's be honest the wr. Room doesn't set up to 5 wide *******.
3. Fullbacks. Well not sure if they have real fullback but we've bitched that for years.
4. Pistol. A little ambivalent. Does allow the back to run both ways. Shotgun pretty much forces the back to cross face of Q. And run to opposite side.
5. Outside zone run concepts. I have two concerns here. 1. Our the olineman maulers or athletes/technicians. If they are maulers it's a bad fit but Smith was hired before draft so I'm assuming they know what they are doing. 2. Harris has been only useful as a north south A/B gap sledge hammer. Any slow in the play has been death. How does he fit here?

And yet, our head coach remained oblivious to this fact, great.

We really don't have the horses at TE either. Muth, who is constantly injured and can't block. And Washington, who is physically impressive until he tries to catch the ball. And then the midget for a TE, Heyward, who was only drafted because his brother was on the team.

He fits like everything else Tomlin has gathered: not at all.

Just another puff piece by those beholden to team management for acess.

Look I'm about as big a realist as anyone about this team. But give it a ****** rest already man. I know ball. About 5/6 of that list has me excited about this team moving forward as an offense. They might have the best linebacking corps in the league and when you think about the 49ers that's saying a hell of a lot. The team with the least holes will win the SB. It probably won't be the Steelers. I admit that. They will be better this year. How that plays out against the competition.....tough to say. Records aren't just about improvement. It's about who you play. They have drafted EXCELLENT by any metric last two years. I think they may have hired a good OC. So STFU already.

He won’t, it is daily diarrhea with him.

And Lloyd I'm gonna be specific about your horse ****. Your comment about TE.
Friermuth is like many or maybe most modern TE's. Big body Slot that poses match up problem for thunker linebacker or smaller Db.
Washington may never become a big weapon but he was a huge part of what got them into playoffs. Rudolph using whole field and bully ball run game.
Heyward. Not 100 percent sure about him but will say this. He flashes both in the catch. Effort after catch and kick out blocks.
You cannot line up in 12 personal with two slot type TEs. You might as well use a slot receiver. These three and I think maybe Pruitt will allow them to run what they want to do. I see them carrying 4 TEs 5 wr. And Patterson as the third back which eliminates need to keep a 6th receiver / kick returner.

No one is allowed to register legit concerns about the team, no matter how real, concrete and well-orchestrated? Well, that sounds like "no free speech" and something I'm not interested in. Free speech is at the foundation of this country, the VERY foundation of it. Are you familiar with the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights? Freedom of speech is at the TOP of those rights that the Founding Fathers thought were worthy of fighting for. FREEDOM of SPEECH is at the very cornerstone of the creation of this country. You are suggesting "STFU" at legitimate concerns of this team, just "because" you think so?

I maintain that this team is far too flawed to contend for a Super Bowl win, far, far too flawed, starting at it's head coach. Under Tomlin we haven't had a postseason win for 7 years, never mind a SB. We have given up, on average 40+ points per game in the playoffs, in our last 4 attempts. And that's who you think will take us to a SB win? Or, as you say, "they will be better than last year." By how much? We won 10 games last year, so better by how many wins? Or will you be demanding a celebration over 9 wins again?

As to your first point say whatever you want. But it must stand up to scrutiny. I just don't get the point of hating on something so much that even improving is a source of ridicule.
As to the second. There are 32 teams in the league. About 4 or 5 at this point look legit contenders. The Steelers are in the middle 3rd. Are you only gonna watch, cheer and hope if you are the top 4 or 5? If they get lucky with their secondary snd health they have championship talent on defense. Not every team can say that.
I wanted Tomlin gone. I'm critical of Tomlin. He isn't gone. I will be critical. But there has to be a limit or I might as well just forget it till he us gone. And trust me there will be growing pains after that unless they lottery win a coach.

How is describing formation, ball distribution, run scheme a puff piece. He made up what he saw?
He isn’t here to talk football he is here to talk **** and flame throw. That is it.

Wilson said he was injured while pushing a heavy sled. While the injury seems minor, why is the QB pushing a sled?

And you and me don't walk around with Black and Gold glasses either. We have no problem being critical. But c'mon.
Nope I will be critical and praising. You are right. The guy just wants to bash Tomlin and whoever else he can squeeze in over and over and over again.

I would ignore him but I prefer the fans not have to put up with his crap daily.

Your guess is good as mine, conditioning? Beats me…

AND you know this all from your great propensity to welch on bets? Hmmm, it's really all coming together nicely. Slash is really providing validity for his great value; not a bet he won't run from.

Damn you are one antagonistic negative SOB. Get yourself some meds.

K cooch.

Eh, not putting any stock in football in shorts on the first few days of camp. It is nice to see what they are going to do.
Looking forward to seeing how things look starting Sunday with full pads on. We’ll get a nice vanilla glimpse of it on the 9th
