2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

and if they start the PO intact, watch out! They can and will be scary good. It is great to see all the young guys getting experience and excelling. The goalie situation is up the air, as far I can see. Both are playing well, but no clear-cut #1. Good problem to have. I'm interested to see who Sully chooses as his man going forward.
 
Murray has been looking a bit out of it atm. I think he'll be good to go by the playoffs. I'd like to see this Pens team with a healthy Letang and Hainsey back soon. If injuries do bound to occur during the playoffs, if Sestito sticks to playing hockey rather than being used as an enforcer, I think the Pens are solid at depth. Sestito can pass and impressed me on sunday
 
We just can't seem to win these shootout games anymore. Oh well. Next.

Big game by Bonino and Archibald today. The Pens played well despite the score. Sheary is amazing night in and night out. Murray is still looking iffy. Wonder whats going on?
 
MAF is great in shootouts. MM, not so much. Last night was the time they needed some of their injured horses. Ottawa at home is tough, but we could have used Malkin and Letang to put them away. They still played a good game to get a point.

The Isles are up for tonight. Need those 2 points to stay with WASH.
 
I think NYI scored. Sullivan challenging goaltender interference.

MAF respected the Isles shooters too much in the shootout. Kinda misread and looked like he wanted the game over. I liked the hustle by Kessel in OT---yes he hustled lol. If that's an indication on what he can bring for the playoffs then I am optimistic. The team needs the defensive guys back. Letang, Daley and Hainsey will give the team that much needed boost. Cole, Streit and Dumo are the only D men getting it done. Gaunce, Archibald, Ruhwedal are more AHL guys who can fill the gap for a stretch, but you eventually need your NHL caliber guys. I'm expecting a strong playoff push no doubt
 
So the Pens will be rocking the stadium series jerseys tomorrow against Carolina. Carolina has been hot of late. Hope the Pens can collect two points tomorrow and get some winning under their belt before the playoffs start

Nashville has good offensive rushes. Up 2-0 in the 1st against San Jose. I'd like to see the Pens and Preds in a finals matchup
 
Okay Pens I'm getting to see the game this evening vs the cryers. Don't play like *** in the spotlight against those filthy orange wearing turds.

Man the second period was a snore fest. They need to ram it up. This is the orange turds Stanley cup game or as close as they'll get to one this year.
 
Well this game turned into a steamed pile of **** fast. Down Ugh 4-1
 
Is this Rivalry night? Sure looks like it.....Seeing some real uninspired hocky so far. And Murray doesn't look as sharp as he should be again.

And now Sheary might be hurt?

I think we have seen the high water mark for this team in its current state. Wake me up when Malkin, Letang, Hagelin, Daley and the rest return.

Pretty much. They really need to get guys healthy and ready to roll. Today's game is pretty much a done deal.
 
And to think I made the mistake telling a friend who is a cryer fan the pens would win tonight because they were so good at home lol.

Running out of time to get healthy. These guys cant just come back for the first game of the playoffs. And I think Fleury might be a better option over Murray if the playoffs started right now.
