Agreed. I get that they want the playoffs to be wide open, but that was bush league
 
These refs are determined to help the Caps. After waving off a goal for interference that clearly wasn't interference and being forced to reverse it, they put the Caps on a PP about 20 seconds later right after they missed Burakovsky bear hugging a Leafs player to keep him from getting the puck.
 
Caps 5 on 3 now on yet another weak penalty. ******* Dubinsky running around throwing the people's elbow last night and nothing.
 
Leafs are handling this 5 on 3!!
 
Carick should've smacked Williams upside the head. Leafs are holding their own. They were looking good on that 5-3

The leafs are fanning on their shots a lot. They are fast, not liking their puck movement . Too much forced passes
 
In 2-3 years, the Leafs are gonna be scary good. This is a bunch of rookies hanging with the Caps. This team will win a Cup. Soon.

Edit: Mitch Marner is probably my favorite non-Penguins player. Dude is nothing flashy, but he skates himself into good position to make plays and score goals.

As long as their FO doesn't mess up.
Babcock has turned that team around. The arrival of Matthews, Nylander, Kapinen, etc. Yeah, they are gonna be great
 
Caps have gotten 2 garbage goals off 2 Leafs mistakes. Cut down the mistakes, and the Leafs could pull off the upset. That would be lovely.

Yeah. That second one was painful
 
The Leafs don't seem to have a strong forcheck, but they seem to rely on it a lot.
 
Interference. A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who interferes with or impedes the progress of an opponent who is not in possession of the puck. A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who restrains an opponent who is attempting to "fore check."

This happens 50 times every hockey game. No calls.

Officiating is horrible and at times seems one sided. I get that the game is fast paced, but jesus!
 
I would be happy if they just called the penalties. Ref is standing there and watches the penalty happen and does jack ****. And it is worse in the playoffs. Just call the penalties.
 
Explain to me how that wasn't tripping. i HATE the caps, but Oshie was tripped. Blatantly.
