Great game Fluery, Sometimes it's better to be thrust into playing than to think about it for a couple days. This is huge for his confidence!
MAF played great.
That 2nd period was beautiful. If these guys just play hockey and let cbj be goons. I think the Pens---I dare say it. Sweep

Phil Kessel picked up a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Despite being outshot 16-3 in the first period, the Pens were able to head into the first intermission with the score still tied 0-0. Pittsburgh had much more jump in the second frame as they outshot Columbus 16-4 and they managed to find the back of the net three times. Kessel picked up the primary assist on Bryan Rust's goal (1-0) before adding a power play goal 2:30 later (2-0).

Pens looked timid in the 1st period, but I think it was a combination of jitters and "see what they do" mentality and then they pounced. CBJ reminded me of the Philly Way to try to beat the Pens, but was glad to see they didn't give in and played their game.
Glad we have MAF. Hope MM makes a full recovery and is back soon, if needed. The Flower can hold the fort down. He has a lot to play for and perform well, at that. Tomorrow's Game 2 is rather large. Get another W and CBJ is talking to themselves. We can score. They are having trouble. I like our chances going forward. Sweet win last night!

Looked like it. This past month or two, he looked hurt.
It was noticeable the way he was getting up and giving up easy shots.
Jarry is supposed to be hype. Let the kid shine.
As for the series: Pens have shown they can skate right past cbj. Just play hockey and they will win

That was a fun game to watch last night. Glad it was running on USA network!
I'm hoping Daley and Rust are just maintenance. Rust did look wobbly but came back. Did Daley get slashed yesterday? Dubinsky was acting a ***** after the game last night
