Well stick a fork in Sid. Time to throw down if that's how they want to roll.
It was a dirty play from a historically dirty team. They try to hurt Crosby in every shift of every game. Everyone knows it. He is out now with a concussion. We can only hope we get through this series and he can come back at some point. I'd be shocked if he only misses this next game but I hope that's all. The team needs to step up and beat this dirty team.
not a bad plan. Can we get under their skin enough to draw some 4 on 4s? Use the Flyer mentality for them to lose their heads and unravel?

I'm for getting revenge cause the Caps have called for it. But let's play some hockey first. Wear those punks out with some speed and shoot at Holtby's glove--- early and often. A 2 or 3 goal lead. Start going after Ovie, Oshie or Wilson. Wilson has been the dirtiest of them all. I know the caps have been a dirty team. I was just expecting this against CBJ

Time for Malkin to carry the team. He's capable
I know Sid's presence took a lot of heat off other guys last year but remember how his play was off compared to his regular self. So while he was there, he was not the Sid we expected to see and they still won the Cup. I'd much rather him be in the lineup but I still think others will step up and help fill his skates just like they did last year.

Look, I love the Pens just like you guys, but if Sid doesn't come back, this series is over. Malkin had a bright moment there at the end, but it seems people have already forgotten the 46 times he turned the puck over prior to that and how ineffective the Pens were for 58 minutes of that game. Hit was dirty as ****, but nothing will be done about it. Seems it truly is the Caps' year.

The legendary defenceman, who spent parts of five seasons and won a Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins, believes the NHL should instead be reviewing Alex Ovechkin‘s whack of Crosby during the Capitals’ Game 3 overtime win Monday.
“The thing everybody’s overlooking—and we’ll never, never know because Sid got hit twice—is the two-hander he took to the back of the neck and the head by Ovechkin,” Coffey told The Starting Lineup on Sportsnet 590 The Fan Tuesday.
“When Crosby was falling down, that could’ve been the initial blow that hurt him. Nobody knows, and nobody’s talking about that. That was a brutal two-hander by Ovechkin to Crosby when he was going to the net.”

I am not normally a guy that gets behind this sort of stuff, but the fact that there were no suspensions over this is preposterous. Ovechkin and Niskanen should be watching the rest of this series. Calling it a hockey play is bullshit. Like I said, it truly is the Caps year.
I think they are destined to choke to someone. Hopefully the Pens, but if not then someone else. The hockey gods cannot allow this horseshit corruption to succeed. They need o prevail, where the football gods failed miserably. There must be justice on some level!
