I saw a whole lot of dissembling about Ovechkin's initial hit. "If he wanted to take Crosby out of the series, he could have done it in game 1" etc. Maybe he realized he missed his chance in game 1 and decided he wouldn't miss an opportunity again. How about that? ... smh

Nah, I am pretty happy with the game to this point. Fleury has been ******* awesome. I just wish Geno would quit trying to do it all himself, which mostly results in turnovers, and that the team as a whole would just make simple plays. When they were just making simple plays, they were in the driver's seat. As it has gone, they start feeling it and start trying to get too fancy and it ends up costing them. If they play within themselves, this win is a sure thing for the Pens because they are so much better than the Caps when they keep it simple.
 
Yeah, maybe that is an indication that it is just the Pens' night. Let's hope.

Man, I was feeling real good there for a little bit ... these turnover/goal combos are killing 'em
 
Be nice if the Pens played in the other team's zone for a little bit too ... smh
 
The Pens' problem is that they are making a simple game hard. When you are under seige in your own zone, just get the puck out. You don't gotta spring your slowest guy on a breakaway.

I am not sure what to say. Sure, the Pens are winning, but they aren't playing winning hockey. It is strange how this team goes through stretches where they look like they are the worst puck handling team in the history of hockey.

And is it just me, or are the Pens defensemen slow as ****? All of them? Good gravy they are slow. And bad. Is Mark Streit dead? He has to be better than ONE of these guys. RIGHT?
