2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason

'bout time they got a solid two points. They really needed them. Hopefully, they put together that little thing called. . . a winning streak. That's two wins in a row!

Odd game. Sure enjoyed the 3rd period. Nice to see the team win NOT on Sids stick. We have talent. Nice of it to show up.

Was an odd game for sure.
2nd period was ugly. I worry about our PK and the fact we're prone to give up some short handed goals. The team responded well however.

Steelcity said it best. We need a winning streak now
 
I simply do not get the point of pairing Petterson with Johnson. Are you trying to ruin the new guy already? Good gravy, the guy you pair with Johnson has to be able to cover for Johnson's mistakes. Too much for a new guy to handle IMHO.

Good win BTW. Would love to see more passion from Malkin and Kessel. Two guys can be a force if they so choose to be. Right now, they are just a couple guys.

As someone mentioned, hopefully this turns in to a winning streak. Gonna take everyone rowing in the same direction though.
 
Turned on the game with about 5 minutes to go and the Pens were up by 3. Saw a lot of empty seats. Did they leave early or just not show up to begin with?
 
We did see a ton of empty seats. We've noticed this at several games this season. The leaving early thing has been going on for as long as I can remember. Ticket prices are lower this year and that is bringing out more casual fans, Last night our section was invaded by a bunch of local college kids. They came late and left way early. As always we stay until the 3 Stars are announced. We really wanted to give Horny a hand as he deserved it. It was called a Standing Room only sell out....... Didn't look like it.

Weather forecast is good for tomorrow. We are going again. Ticket prices are really good for the Islanders. Win or lose, we'll have fun.

Remember a couple of weeks ago, Horny was quoted. "One game, one shift, one goal, can change the season". I hoping that proves to be true,

Like the Kessel/Crosby/Guentzel line. Wonder if they'll keep rolling that line out...I hope they keep playing the hot hand. The KC and the Guentzel Band Line?
 
Wish we still had Reeves. What was their reasoning behind that move? Has the perfect number for Pittsburgh and bad disposition to go with it.

Hope all teams beat the **** out of that asswipe Wilson.

Sheahan's line is clicking. They were solid tonight.
Petterson is a nice addition too. He's disruptive on the puck carrier.


Hope Rust is ok.
Dude is getting gassed and took a hit in the 3rd.

Really fun game though. Chased Greiss out of net.
Wish Crosby would've hit his break away on Gibson
