In about seven months Trump will have the nuclear codes. It will be a fast war.
Radical Islam is the new buzzword to gain support for another war.
I don't know.but it is already illegal to own it if you don't have a special license. How does banning the scary AR change that?
H
So now the media is creating a hot button word that everyone here is parroting. "Radical Islamism". Keep saying it enough time, and every time you see someone with brown skin, your heart will skip, and you'll break in a cold sweat. This is typical demonization of an enemy to make they scary, and we should all be fearful to the point of begging to go to war.
.
Of course he did. A boozing, gay man who's frequented this club for years and hit on gay men online was a real, card-carrying Islamic terrorist. Keep on believing brother, you're definitely on the right path here.
In the hours after he blasted his way into an Orlando gay nightclub, and with his victims lying dead or wounded around him, Omar Mateen took to Facebook to pledge his loyalty to ISIS and threaten more attacks on the civilized world, a key lawmaker privy to the gunman’s posts told FoxNews.com Wednesday....
Mateen, who killed 49 people and wounded 53 inside Pulse early Sunday, died when a SWAT team stormed the club. But in the roughly four hours between his initial rampage and his death, the 29-year-old radicalized Muslim broadcast his twisted message of hate on social media, according to Senate Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wisc.
“I pledge my alliance to (ISIS leader) abu bakr al Baghdadi..may Allah accept me,” Mateen wrote in one post early Sunday morning. “The real muslims will never accept the filthy ways of the west” …“You kill innocent women and children by doing us airstrikes..now taste the Islamic state vengeance.”
Mateen’s social media accounts were taken down before they could be widely viewed by the public, but Johnson’s committee investigators have uncovered some or all of them. The senator has also written a letter to Facebook executives expressing concern about Mateen’s postings and asking for more information on his activities.
“It is my understanding that Omar Mateen used Facebook before and during the attack to search for and post terrorism-related content,” read Johnson’s letter. “According to information obtained by my staff, five Facebook accounts were apparently associated with Omar Mateen.”
The posts uncovered by Johnson’s committee shed light on Mateen’s actions in the hours that followed his 2 a.m. raid on the nightclub. Mateen, armed with a Sig Sauer MCX assault rifle and a handgun, shot his way past an off-duty cop and sprayed bullets throughout the club, which was packed with more than 300 revelers when he arrived. Some escaped, many died or were wounded and scores more waited out the horrific ordeal, knowing each moment could be their last.
As survivors cowered in darkened rooms, praying and texting police and relatives, Mateen accessed his Facebook account to search for media reports, using search words such as “Pulse Orlando” and “Shooting.” An FBI source told FoxNews.com he also made 16 phone calls from inside the club after the bloody spree began. Investigators are tracking down each of the recipients of those calls.
Mateen proclaimed his hatred for Westerners in one Facebook post uncovered by Johnson’s committee.
“America and Russia stop bombing the Islamic state,” Mateen wrote.
In his final post, Mateen made an ominous prediction.
“In the next few days you will see attacks from the Islamic state in the usa.”
Besides looking for information on himself, Johnson noted Mateen used Facebook to search for information on the jihadist couple behind the Dec. 2 San Bernardino attack, used the search term “Baghdadi Speech,” and scouted for posts by local law enforcement and FBI, Johnson told FoxNews.com.
Johnson called on Facebook to hand over all information the company has on Mateen for review and to brief his committee on all of Mateen’s activity logs, Facebook timeline information, Facebook messages, photos, and posts by June 29.
Facebook officials confirmed to FoxNews.com they have received Johnson’s letter.
I don't know.
I don't want to ban AR's.
making them as easy to obtain as an average used car loan seems like a a good idea, though.
I'm quite aware of ArmaLite and Eugene Stoner, thanks. When you say AR, do you mean Automatic Rifles, Assault Rifles, or ArmaLite Rifles?
* We have to establish the dipshit quotient before having a rational discussion.
A journalist’s recent Facebook status update destroying the myths about the Orlando shooter is quickly going viral.
Che Brandes-Tuka, a scholar, international human rights campaigner, and organizer who works as a journalist for TeleSUR English, ran through the known details of Omar Mateen — the 29-year-old who carried out a massacre at an Orlando nightclub that left 49 people dead and 53 others wounded — and shredded the myth that he was an Afghan terrorist with ties to ISIS:
So after a couple of days of reports and testimonies, we know the following about the Orlando shooter:
He was a child of immigrants, born and raised in the United States.
He pledged allegiance to Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda AND ISIS, 3 organizations that are de facto at war with each other, showing he was ignorant about all 3, let alone politics in the Middle East in general.
He knew practically nothing about Islam and according to his wife, father and community he was not religious in the slightest.
Brandes-Tuka pointed out that according to all available evidence, Mateen’s attack was rooted not in a desire to carry out an act of terrorism in the name of radical Islamic views, but rather as the result of letting hate take over his life and working for an employer with a long background of abuse and domination:
He struggled with his toxic masculinity, had an alcohol problem and beat up his wife for which he was never charged.
He was racist towards Blacks, Latin@’s and other minorities and in the shooting killed predominantly queer people of color.
Despite his own alleged queer inclinations, he was a homophobe in a country where still 1 in 5 LGBTQ people are victims of hate crimes and there are more than a 100 anti-LGBTQ bills (from anti-gay marriage to bathroom bills) pending in dozens of states.
He idolized the NYPD, one of the country’s most well-known and cherished institutions that has an army bigger than ISIS, is known to indiscriminately and disproportionately spy on Muslims and which engages in systematic violence against Blacks, Latin@’s and other minorities.
He beat juveniles in detention centers over the head for a living as he worked for and got his training from the private security firm G4S, which is not only one of the foremost stakeholders in the Prison–industrial complex, but is also invested in mass deportations as it runs immigration detention centers and participates in the occupation of Palestine, training other mass killers in Israel to target and imprison Palestinians.
Brandes-Tuka’s viral post also touched on America’s troubling addiction to guns, the prevalence of mass shootings in recent history, and undue attention paid to violent, hateful, and close-minded viewpoints.
He staged a mass shooting in a country that has seen a 1,000 mass shootings in the last 1,200 days.
So basically he was ignorant, self-conflicted, racist, sexist, homophobe, had a sick admiration for authority and was obsessed with guns and violence, eventually acting upon all of that.
Sorry folks, but your supposed “Islamic radical terrorist from Afghanistan” is as American as apple pie made with homegrown apples and baked in an American made oven.
The terrorist attack in Orlando is down the left’s memory hole.
Its gun control 24/7 now.
Did they ever confirm if all the victims were shot? I would not be surprised if quite of few were trampled to death.
Every piece of **** mosque in this country should be screaming against the attacks. But....silence. Because they approve of them. And so does their leader, Obuttfuck.
