Man Threatens Death on Those Who Refuse to Accept Copies of the Quran

Denton, Texas - 28-year old Peshwaz Azad Waise, from Iraq, was jailed on a charge of terroristic threat Wednesday morning after threatening to impose the death penalty on several people who refused to take copies of the Quran.

Waise was arrested at the courthouse on Tuesday morning.

Denton police said officers responding to a call for assistance Tuesday night were stopped by 28-year old Peshwaz Azad Waise, of Iraq, and that he was speaking irrationally and making comments about God and Allah. Since Waise was not in violation of any law, the officers continued responding to the initial call for help, police said.

Peshwaz Waise was threatening workers at a Center to take the Koran and give it to the chaplain or “die.” He later went to the courthouse and threatened security officers.

Waise was attempting to pass Korans to judges in the courthouse.

His mistake was entering the courthouse. If he’d gone about his business threatening only the general public...

but it is already illegal to own it if you don't have a special license. How does banning the scary AR change that?
I don't know.

I don't want to ban AR's.

making them as easy to obtain as an average used car loan seems like a a good idea, though.

How hard to get is good enough? If you can get a full auto AK for $500, that is already cheaper than most AR's and, apparently, just as easy to get.

Is that the only one of the Bill of Rights you want to curtail or are there others?

ORLANDO — Omar Mateen, the killer who claimed allegiance to the Islamic State, hid in a bathroom at Pulse, a gay nightclub where he had slaughtered scores of people. A wall of cinder block separated him from a team of police officers outside. For three hours early Sunday morning, crisis negotiators tried to end the siege.

Then Mateen — whom police said had acted “cool and calm” during discussions — talked about killing more people. Alarmed, police placed an explosive device against the wall and detonated it. The breach failed; the hole wasn’t large enough to allow for a successful rescue.

A cop rammed his Bearcat armored vehicle through the club wall. Hostages poured out. So did Mateen, guns blazing.

With quick efficiency, officers shot him dead.

So ended the worst armed massacre in American history: 49 victims were killed and 53 wounded.

Monday, Orlando Police Chief John Mina and other law enforcement officers offered new details about the shooting, including the possibility that some victims may have been killed by officers trying to save them.

“I will say this, that’s all part of the investigation,” Mina said. “But I will say when our SWAT officers, about eight or nine officers, opened fire, the backdrop was a concrete wall, and they were being fired upon.”

A law enforcement source close to the investigation who asked not to be named said a crowd of up to 300 people and the complex layout of the dance club may have resulted in some patrons being struck by gunfire from officers.

Mina said his decision to enter the club with such violence was tough. “It was a hard decision to make, but it was the right decision,” he said. “Our No. 1 priority is on saving lives, and it was the right decision to make.”

Local, federal and state investigators continued to process the scene Monday from a collection of law enforcement mobile command units that lined South Orange in downtown Orlando. Authorities determined Mateen, 29, walked up to the club at 2:02 a.m. armed with an AR-15 rifle and a Glock handgun.

An off-duty police officer working at the club Sunday night was investigating an underage drinker outside when he heard gunshots inside, according to the law enforcement source. The off-duty officer ran inside the club and traded gunfire with Mateen, backed up soon by three other police officers, the source said.

The officers fired at Mateen, who retreated into a bathroom toward the rear of the club.

“Those additional officers made entry while the suspect was shooting,” Mina said. “They forced him to stop shooting and retreat to the bathroom where we believe he had several hostages.”

Mateen called 911 three times from a bathroom he shared with hostages and pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State, a terrorist group also known as ISIL or ISIS.

He called dispatchers twice and hung up before they called him back, the source said.

“He was in one bathroom fortified with hostages,” Mina said. “There were people in the opposing bathroom, about 15 or 20 people. And the details are unknown, they’re part of the investigation.”

Orlando police crisis negotiators were called to the club and spoke with Mateen three times. He remained calm during the talks, but he made clear that his plan was to kill more people, Mina said.

“Based off statements made by the suspect and based on information we received by the suspect and from the hostages and the people inside,” Mina said, “we believe further loss of life was imminent. I made the decision to commence the rescue operation and do the explosive breach.”

A SWAT team failed to topple the exterior wall leading to the bathroom that held 15 to 20 people, so Mina made the call to use the Bearcat.

Officers wore combat-grade body armor and helmets as they rammed the bathroom wall, creating a small hole — about 3 feet wide and 2 feet off the ground — so the captives could escape.

“We were able to rescue dozens and dozens of people who came out of that wall,” Mina said. “The suspect came out of that hole himself with a handgun and a long gun and engaged in a gunbattle with officers where he was ultimately killed.”

Mateen wielded an AR-15 and a semiautomatic handgun he had bought from a Port St. Lucie gun shop a week ago. He fired at officers, striking one of them in his helmet before he was shot several times and died.

Dozens of bullet holes dotted the exterior concrete wall, evidence of the shootout that included dozens of rounds fired by officers.

The last exchange of gunfire Mateen had with Orlando police and Orange County sheriff’s deputies occurred at 5 a.m. and ended a three-hour standoff.

Orlando officers walked into the nightclub and found lifeless club patrons strewn about a bar and lounge area. More bodies were found in a nearby bathroom.

So now the media is creating a hot button word that everyone here is parroting. "Radical Islamism". Keep saying it enough time, and every time you see someone with brown skin, your heart will skip, and you'll break in a cold sweat. This is typical demonization of an enemy to make they scary, and we should all be fearful to the point of begging to go to war.

.

I believe you meant radical Islam. There is a difference. Which is a misnomer.. This was a term created by our politicians to distinguish it from "moderate, mainstream" Islam. Truth is, it is all the same. The only difference is how much of the religion one chooses to observe.

Islamism is a term used to describe the effort by Muslims to impose Islam on the world, to then be controlled by the Caliphate. This is what ISIS wants to get rolling, and has done a good job of it. It is what Islam has been trying to do for 1400 years, with limited success. They now see an opportunity, flush with Saudi money, and a means to get the message out to those followers through the Internet. Your "brown skin" comment is sophomoric, and shows little understanding of the Islamic diaspora..........a diaspora that is in the process of conquering Europe. Ask any German, Belgian, Frenchman. We are seeing the movement in the just about every nation in the ME and North Africa, as well as the Phillippines, Thailand, the Balkans, Indonesia, Malayasia, India, blah, blah, blah.

There are 1400 years that prove you wrong. The next time they attack the Gates of Vienna, it will be from within.

The JV team at it again

ISIS Praises Mateen as 'Lion of Caliphate,' Urges Attacks at Theaters, Hospitals, Amusement Parks '

An ISIS-affiliated media group issued new statements today praising Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen as a "lion of the caliphate" and a "hero" for slaughtering 49 "infidels" -- and calling on other lone jihadis to follow his example.

The Al-Battar Media Foundation, which previously posted an ISIS claim for the November attack on a Jordanian police training facility in which two Americans were among the dead and released a March video celebrating the Brussels attacks while urging more attacks in Europe, released a few separate statements on Orlando a few hours after Obama spoke. Al-Battar is reportedly the media operation of elite ISIS Libyan unit Kalibat al-Battar al-Libi, which is led by a Tunisian terrorist who may at one point have been held by the U.S.

The first statement today featured a selfie of Mateen, who was credited with killing "gay crusader infidels in the city of Orlando, America" and putting "horror, fear and heartbreak" in "the hearts of the infidels" during the "great blessed battle successfully carried out by one Muslim man."

Tibs is a Muslim, ergo a terrorist. There's no other logical explanation for his jihadist posts.

The silence of "regular Muslims" is deafening. They don't condemn these attacks, because they approve of them.

Obama has given marching orders to all his minions

Every piece of **** mosque in this country should be screaming against the attacks. But....silence. Because they approve of them. And so does their leader, Obuttfuck.

Of course he did. A boozing, gay man who's frequented this club for years and hit on gay men online was a real, card-carrying Islamic terrorist. Keep on believing brother, you're definitely on the right path here.

Maybe they're right. Maybe you are Muslim. Because Mateen's own words make you out to be an utter fool. He posted countless times online AFTER storming the club. His posts, HIS words...readily available for you to read. He placed 16 phone calls while inside the club.

He tells you he was doing this for Allah. He tells you he was doing this for ISIS. He condemns the USA.

But you, Tibs, radical Muslim sympathizer, believes the horse **** the MSM feeds you - that this is all about a gay man soured.

You are a fool Tibs (not that we needed that painted out for us or put up in neon).

Orlando terrorist's chilling Facebook posts from inside club revealed

In the hours after he blasted his way into an Orlando gay nightclub, and with his victims lying dead or wounded around him, Omar Mateen took to Facebook to pledge his loyalty to ISIS and threaten more attacks on the civilized world, a key lawmaker privy to the gunman’s posts told FoxNews.com Wednesday....

Mateen, who killed 49 people and wounded 53 inside Pulse early Sunday, died when a SWAT team stormed the club. But in the roughly four hours between his initial rampage and his death, the 29-year-old radicalized Muslim broadcast his twisted message of hate on social media, according to Senate Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wisc.

“I pledge my alliance to (ISIS leader) abu bakr al Baghdadi..may Allah accept me,” Mateen wrote in one post early Sunday morning. “The real muslims will never accept the filthy ways of the west” …“You kill innocent women and children by doing us airstrikes..now taste the Islamic state vengeance.”

Mateen’s social media accounts were taken down before they could be widely viewed by the public, but Johnson’s committee investigators have uncovered some or all of them. The senator has also written a letter to Facebook executives expressing concern about Mateen’s postings and asking for more information on his activities.

“It is my understanding that Omar Mateen used Facebook before and during the attack to search for and post terrorism-related content,” read Johnson’s letter. “According to information obtained by my staff, five Facebook accounts were apparently associated with Omar Mateen.”

The posts uncovered by Johnson’s committee shed light on Mateen’s actions in the hours that followed his 2 a.m. raid on the nightclub. Mateen, armed with a Sig Sauer MCX assault rifle and a handgun, shot his way past an off-duty cop and sprayed bullets throughout the club, which was packed with more than 300 revelers when he arrived. Some escaped, many died or were wounded and scores more waited out the horrific ordeal, knowing each moment could be their last.

As survivors cowered in darkened rooms, praying and texting police and relatives, Mateen accessed his Facebook account to search for media reports, using search words such as “Pulse Orlando” and “Shooting.” An FBI source told FoxNews.com he also made 16 phone calls from inside the club after the bloody spree began. Investigators are tracking down each of the recipients of those calls.

Mateen proclaimed his hatred for Westerners in one Facebook post uncovered by Johnson’s committee.

“America and Russia stop bombing the Islamic state,” Mateen wrote.

In his final post, Mateen made an ominous prediction.

“In the next few days you will see attacks from the Islamic state in the usa.”

Besides looking for information on himself, Johnson noted Mateen used Facebook to search for information on the jihadist couple behind the Dec. 2 San Bernardino attack, used the search term “Baghdadi Speech,” and scouted for posts by local law enforcement and FBI, Johnson told FoxNews.com.

Johnson called on Facebook to hand over all information the company has on Mateen for review and to brief his committee on all of Mateen’s activity logs, Facebook timeline information, Facebook messages, photos, and posts by June 29.

Facebook officials confirmed to FoxNews.com they have received Johnson’s letter.

Yes, nothing here but a gay man wronged. Nothing radical about this incident. Nothing Islamic. -- Signed, MSNBC

When you say AR, do you mean Automatic Rifles, Assault Rifles, or ArmaLite Rifles?

* We have to establish the dipshit quotient before having a rational discussion.

A journalist’s recent Facebook status update destroying the myths about the Orlando shooter is quickly going viral.

Che Brandes-Tuka, a scholar, international human rights campaigner, and organizer who works as a journalist for TeleSUR English, ran through the known details of Omar Mateen — the 29-year-old who carried out a massacre at an Orlando nightclub that left 49 people dead and 53 others wounded — and shredded the myth that he was an Afghan terrorist with ties to ISIS:

So after a couple of days of reports and testimonies, we know the following about the Orlando shooter:

He was a child of immigrants, born and raised in the United States.

He pledged allegiance to Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda AND ISIS, 3 organizations that are de facto at war with each other, showing he was ignorant about all 3, let alone politics in the Middle East in general.

He knew practically nothing about Islam and according to his wife, father and community he was not religious in the slightest.

Brandes-Tuka pointed out that according to all available evidence, Mateen’s attack was rooted not in a desire to carry out an act of terrorism in the name of radical Islamic views, but rather as the result of letting hate take over his life and working for an employer with a long background of abuse and domination:

He struggled with his toxic masculinity, had an alcohol problem and beat up his wife for which he was never charged.

He was racist towards Blacks, Latin@’s and other minorities and in the shooting killed predominantly queer people of color.

Despite his own alleged queer inclinations, he was a homophobe in a country where still 1 in 5 LGBTQ people are victims of hate crimes and there are more than a 100 anti-LGBTQ bills (from anti-gay marriage to bathroom bills) pending in dozens of states.

He idolized the NYPD, one of the country’s most well-known and cherished institutions that has an army bigger than ISIS, is known to indiscriminately and disproportionately spy on Muslims and which engages in systematic violence against Blacks, Latin@’s and other minorities.

He beat juveniles in detention centers over the head for a living as he worked for and got his training from the private security firm G4S, which is not only one of the foremost stakeholders in the Prison–industrial complex, but is also invested in mass deportations as it runs immigration detention centers and participates in the occupation of Palestine, training other mass killers in Israel to target and imprison Palestinians.

Brandes-Tuka’s viral post also touched on America’s troubling addiction to guns, the prevalence of mass shootings in recent history, and undue attention paid to violent, hateful, and close-minded viewpoints.

He staged a mass shooting in a country that has seen a 1,000 mass shootings in the last 1,200 days.

So basically he was ignorant, self-conflicted, racist, sexist, homophobe, had a sick admiration for authority and was obsessed with guns and violence, eventually acting upon all of that.

Sorry folks, but your supposed “Islamic radical terrorist from Afghanistan” is as American as apple pie made with homegrown apples and baked in an American made oven.

The terrorist attack in Orlando is down the left’s memory hole.

Its gun control 24/7 now.

Where is the part where things were debunked? This is just an opinion stated as fact and something i predicted a few pages ago.

Did they ever confirm if all the victims were shot? I would not be surprised if quite of few were trampled to death.
