See... this is what I see. I don't believe that it was a planned ISIS/Al Qaeda/Hezbollah attack, nor do I believe that he was directed to do so by those organizations.

What I DO believe is that his faith in Islam led him to his attack, though. Sure, maybe he was a closeted gay man. But it was his faith in Islam that made him the self loathing and hateful man who believed that all gays were sinners that needed to be punished by death. He learned from a visiting Imam at his favored mosque that gays should be punished by death. He learned from his father that gays were sinners and they would be judged by Allah in Death. Muslim led countries are routinely murdering gays. His social media posts and 911 calls and at scene ranting all were in support of radical islam groups.

So even if he was a crazed loner -- he was in part acting under the influence of radical islam ideals.

Walmart quit selling the AR type weapons a while ago. Can still buy "non-military-style" rifles there, though.
