Allen Robinson trade in the works from LAR…..per Bleacher Report.

@AdamSchefter

WR Allen Robinson is due $15 million guaranteed this season, of which the Rams already have paid $5 million. It is expected that the Steelers will pay a portion of the remaining $10 million to Robinson, per sources.

Two new ILBs, an upgrade at LG and another swing IOL, a new backup tackle, Patrick Peterson swapped for Cam Sutton, a new DL ..... and THIS is the new regime putting their stamp on things?
Easy, killer.
Apparently sarcasm doesn't come across all the time.
I have actually enjoyed the moves so far.

I remember when we got a OL from the Lions and they were a perennial doormat.

Dang, how the **** can you continuously make good sense.................. I hewar yaz !!!!

Salute the nation

Surely you jest?!?! He torched us when he played for Jacksonville 2 years in a row...

I may recall a Robinson playing for them before. I can name like 2 players on that entire team. Lawrence and Etienne. That's it.

I don't pay much mind unless they're on the Steelers. I had no idea who Minkah Fitzpatrick was until the Steelers traded for him...haha

Trade terms agreement:
🏈
Steelers get WR Allen Robinson and a 7th-round pick (No. 251).
🏈
Rams receive 7th-round pick (No. 234).
Rams pay $10.25 million of Robinson’s salary; Steelers pay remaining $5 million. Robinson is scheduled to be in Pittsburgh for a physical Wednesday.

This signals a trade to number 9 to grab Jalen Carter.

Not gonna have the draft capital to draft and get a starting WR and now with this move, it appears Addison is out of the picture…Because of Robinsons addition I’m thinking we draft a WR at 120 or later…Here’s why…

Once we nab Jalen Carter, who is a generational defensive talent, & will be a fixture in our defense for 10 years any draft picks left will need to address OT & CB & Safety…

Jalen Carter IS COMING TO PITTSBURGH…

I actually like this trade. Robinson is an above average possession guy right now. Not what he used to be, some of his Chicago years were with Mitch with 2019 being a 1000 yard season. I think he will be a solid reliable role player

why do you see that?

don't want addison anyway

Robinson has no guaranteed money next year but I read his cap number would be too big. One year rental.

Depends on what we gave up and how much salary the Rams picked up. His salary was only 5 million so if the picked up even one million of that and we only gave up a 7th I would be on board. Makes draft needs a little different. Still think we need a return man unless they feel CA3 can do it and stay healthy.

Interesting trade, for very little. He’s not a separation guy or yards after catch guy. 6’2 220 pounds. Possession Receiver. And a good top 10 blocking WR. If his injury concerns are behind him this is a good addition. But don’t expect a speedster.
