Schefter is reporting its for a late 7th and Steelers will only pay $5 mil of his salary. Itsa Steal
Guess we'll all see in 9 days, but I hope not.Cause we addressed wide receiver already now, which we CANNOT do during the draft once we LOSE draft capital in the trade up for Carter.
Not enough high picks left to go around once we steal Carter. Cause we NEED to address OT, CB, & SAFETY…
Gotta get Carter, but the math doesn’t work to fill all positions. That’s why they did this trade
“Get Carter”
I want volume of high quality players not Carter.
Are you replacing Diontae at 1.12 or 1.17 then? I think you'd have to take Jaxon Smith-Njigba with the 12 pick, or maybe Johnson if you're sold on him. If not, you can't risk Addison or Flowers falling to 32, so it'd likely have to be at 17.Need to fleece Houston into trading us the #12 pick for Dionte now.
Sarcasm my manLook at this way... what WR in the 7th will have his potential??? I think we skip on WR this year now...JMO.
Which leads me to ask..."is Boykins coming back?"

A starting WR capable of what Johnson is capable of in the third round? Not a chance. They need a day 1 starter capable of 100 targets.I rel

Well, #18 and a former #84 both came mid rounds.... not like it cannot happenA starting WR capable of what Johnson is capable of in the third round? Not a chance. They need a day 1 starter capable of 100 targets.
Hear Ye, Hear Ye……sit at 17, grab Jones (doubtful), Wright or Harrison. Then grab Branch at 32! (Slot CB and future Sutton 2.0). 49 and 80 I could see LB, DL CB or C. (possibly some trade down to get another 4th) Henley, Benson, Wypler or Ky Blu Kelly. No, no, no Buckeye...I mean, does the trade up me losing 1.32 - where I'm hoping Branch slides too.
You may need me to package up some Elijah Craig and send it to you. I'm not Cooch!!!
Brown had 16 receptions as a rookie. Johnson had 59 as a rookie, which is actually pretty good, but I'm not sure there's a third-round guy who can offer that in this year's draft.Well, #18 and a former #84 both came mid rounds.... not like it cannot happen
Even if Robinson is halfway between the 2020 and current version it'd be an upgrade over what the Steelers had in play. CA3 is going to be a situational player and hopefully Canada can dig deep and actually use him in creative ways instead of the obvious.Imagine having Pickens and Robinson playing like it’s 2020 on the outside and DJ at the slot and Freiermuth at TE. Or going 5 wide with CA3 streaking and making that safety stay deep. Lots pf weapons.
It is after all, my Conspiracy Theory…you're reaching

We need a veteran leader in the WR room. Way too much pouting last year.
So let's check the boxes:
Veteran WR -check.
Capable in the slot - check.
Good hands- check.
Red zone option- check
Little given up- check.
He's just a mannnn in th boxxxxx.

Canada can dig until he hits China and he won't find creative.
