Allen Robinson trade in the works from LAR…..per Bleacher Report.

Does getting Carter negate selecting Branch??? If so, no go mi amigo...
Yup...We'll probably have to ship out #32...

No brainer for me, No bueno para ti...

Trubisky had very high praise for Robinson back in 2020.

"He's been huge. He is a leader of our offense. He's our number one receiver," Trubisky said. "The way he practices and handles himself on a daily basis, I think all the young guys look up to A-Rob as the ultimate pro. Everything he earns on the field he puts the work in for it."

"He is a great teammate... He has been a great friend, a brother to me. It's been awesome to share the field with him. I'm just lucky to throw him the ball."

Cause we addressed wide receiver already now, which we CANNOT do during the draft once we LOSE draft capital in the trade up for Carter.

Not enough high picks left to go around once we steal Carter. Cause we NEED to address OT, CB, & SAFETY…

Gotta get Carter, but the math doesn’t work to fill all positions. That’s why they did this trade

Guess we'll all see in 9 days, but I hope not.
His bust/HOF pendulum says no way.

I honestly would’ve liked to have seen them try to keep Boykin for that money, can be the number 4 option and we was a very good gunner on special teams.

Need to fleece Houston into trading us the #12 pick for Dionte now.
Are you replacing Diontae at 1.12 or 1.17 then? I think you'd have to take Jaxon Smith-Njigba with the 12 pick, or maybe Johnson if you're sold on him. If not, you can't risk Addison or Flowers falling to 32, so it'd likely have to be at 17.

IMO still too many needs to waste capital jumping to #9

I replace him in the 3rd or 4th.

No, no, no Buckeye...I mean, does the trade up me losing 1.32 - where I'm hoping Branch slides too.

You may need me to package up some Elijah Craig and send it to you. I'm not Cooch!!!
Hear Ye, Hear Ye……sit at 17, grab Jones (doubtful), Wright or Harrison. Then grab Branch at 32! (Slot CB and future Sutton 2.0). 49 and 80 I could see LB, DL CB or C. (possibly some trade down to get another 4th) Henley, Benson, Wypler or Ky Blu Kelly.

Imagine having Pickens and Robinson playing like it’s 2020 on the outside and DJ at the slot and Freiermuth at TE. Or going 5 wide with CA3 streaking and making that safety stay deep. Lots pf weapons.

Well, #18 and a former #84 both came mid rounds.... not like it cannot happen
Brown had 16 receptions as a rookie. Johnson had 59 as a rookie, which is actually pretty good, but I'm not sure there's a third-round guy who can offer that in this year's draft.

Even if Robinson is halfway between the 2020 and current version it'd be an upgrade over what the Steelers had in play. CA3 is going to be a situational player and hopefully Canada can dig deep and actually use him in creative ways instead of the obvious.

Carter won’t be there at 9… the rumors of his drop are overstated…

If this goes through as reported, Khan better keep his eye out for the cops. This is robbery!

A healthy Robinson in a favorable situation is one of the top 20 WRs in the league. The dude literally catches everything he can reach. He's smart and works zones like nobody's business. On top of those things, a very mature guy with a great work ethic. A natural leader on and off the field. Our young WRs will benefit greatly from this move...so will Kenny. This is that WR that you look for when things are breaking down. Robinson is one of the best at using his big body to make himself open when he's covered.

Seriously, in a year with a relatively weak WR class, when you can't afford to spend a high pick on another WR, this is a very strong move by the FO. He may be willing to renegotiate that contract too, if he's healthy and enjoying life in the B&G.

So let's check the boxes:

Veteran WR -check.
Capable in the slot - check.
Good hands- check.
Red zone option- check
Little given up- check.

He's just a mannnn in th boxxxxx.

We use to have a bush, but now we have to settle for the BOX…….

Mingo?

Canada can dig until he hits China and he won't find creative.

I think he should start digging now.

Between Myself / BLITZ / Paul / Lunar (LS10 driver) we will handle the OC duties until his return (he has to make it to china before returning).

fedderone has to remain on call 4hr before and 1 hr after each game, just in case we needOC help or bail money.
