'Smoking gun' email reveals Obama DOJ blocked conservative groups from settlement funds

The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee claims he obtained a “smoking gun” email that proves the Obama Justice Department prevented settlement payouts from going to conservative-leaning organizations, even as liberal groups were awarded money and DOJ officials denied “picking and choosing” recipients.

“It is not every day in congressional investigations that we find a smoking gun,” Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said Tuesday. “Here, we have it.”

While Eric Holder was U.S. attorney general, the Justice Department allowed prosecutors to strike agreements compelling big companies to give money to outside groups not connected to their cases to meet settlement burdens.

I think the turn in msm reporting is signaling theofficial crucifixion of Clinton is about to begin.... repubs shouldnt look at this as a victory though, its just nessesary bloodletting because Hillary refused to step aside and they need a clean break from her scandles for the next major election cycle....

DNC: Our 'new leadership' was not involved in 'Trump dossier' funding

The Democratic National Committee claims its "new leadership" had nothing to do with the funding of the so-called "Trump dossier," after it was reported Tuesday that the firm behind it was hired by DNC lawyer Mark Elias and Hillary Clinton's campaign.

"Tom Perez and the new leadership of the DNC were not involved in the decision-making regarding Fusion GPS, nor were they aware that Perkins Coie was working with the organization," said DNC Communications Director Xochitl Hinojosa in statement, referring to the DNC chairman.

The Clinton campaign and the DNC financed Fusion GPS's research up until just days before the Nov. 8 election.

Too bad nobody in the news agencies gives a **** enough to mention it. They'll bury just like they do every other stories when one of their ilk who are exposed as criminals. Instead of covering it, they will write up 10 more Trump and Russia or Trump insulted (insert name here) stories overnight to divert attention away from it. Same **** different day.

FBI informant in Obama Russian nuclear bribery cleared to testify before Congress

The Justice Department on Wednesday night released a former FBI informant from a confidentiality agreement, allowing him to testify before Congress about what he witnessed undercover about the Russian nuclear industry’s efforts to win favorable decisions during the Obama administration.

Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores confirmed a deal had been reached clearing the informant to talk to Congress for the first tie, nearly eight years after he first went undercover for the FBI.

“As of tonight, the Department of Justice has authorized the informant to disclose to the Chairmen and Ranking Members of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, as well as one member of each of their staffs, any information or documents he has concerning alleged corruption or bribery involving transactions in the uranium market, including but not limited to anything related to Vadim Mikerin, Rosatom, Tenex, Uranium One, or the Clinton Foundation,” she said.

I don't know how much of this is true, but if any of it is true, the FBI is up to their ******* neck in shady dealings with Russia, Meuller and Weissman in particular. This is turning into a bad dream, the dirty, shady **** the people charged with protecting our nation will do for money or political security. My favorite part of this morning has been watching Chris Cuomo, Alisyn Camerotta and Chris Cilizza explain why it was ok for the Hillary campaign to pay a foreign operative for information on Trump, but that it is completely criminal for the Trump campaign to pay a foreign operative for information about Clinton. Best I could get out of their drivel is that the British MI-6 that did the dossier wasn't an enemy of the US so that makes it different.

The one guy on the panel, can't remember his name, older guy with that was retired from one of our spy agencies, said it was the same thing when they actually let him talk, and they never let him talk again.

Panetta: Intelligence Committee Needs to Look into Clinton/DNC Dossier Payment

Former CIA Director Leon Panetta said that the Senate Intelligence Committee is going to have to look into the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for funding the controversial Trump dossier

Panetta continued, “I really do think that the committee is going to have to get into this, determine just exactly what happened. Who knew what and when?”

Panetta was asked why Clinton campaign attorney Marc Elias didn’t tell Clinton campaign chair, John Podesta, they had paid for the dossier.

Elias was the lawyer was representing the Clinton campaign and DNC, during the election and is alleged to have paid Fusion GPS for the Trump dossier.

“Well, it certainly makes the situation very awkward,” Panetta said. “If you’re testifying and saying you have no knowledge, and the attorney sitting next to you is one of those that knew what was involved here, I think it does raise an issue that the committee is going to have to look at and determine just exactly who knew what.”

This is not the first time the unhinged Clayton has made the news for his unhinged and sometimes violent stunts. Previously, Clayton verbally assaulted a young female journalist – stalking her for blocks in Washington, D.C.

Clayton also broke into a Friends of Abe (a conservative club that meets monthly) and attempted to record attendees (against club rules) while shouting vulgarities.

Mueller facing new pressure to resign in Russia probe

Critics question whether Mueller’s own ties to the bureau as well as fired FBI director James Comey now render him compromised.

This week’s bombshell that a controversial anti-Trump dossier was funded by the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign has Republicans asking to what extent the FBI – which received some of the findings and briefly agreed to pay the same researcher to gather intelligence on Trump and Russia – used the politically connected material.

Hill investigators also are looking into a Russian firm’s uranium deal that was approved by the Obama administration in 2010 despite reports that the FBI – then led by Mueller – had evidence of bribery involving a subsidiary of that firm.

“The federal code could not be clearer – Mueller is compromised by his apparent conflict of interest in being close with James Comey,” Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., who first called for Mueller to step down over the summer, said in a statement.

“The appearance of a conflict is enough to put Mueller in violation of the code. … All of the revelations in recent weeks make the case stronger.”
