Archer REPLACED On KO Returns

The article says the other half of the doobie brothers managed 29 yards per return for new england and that is lots better than what we have been getting. I guess if one can not organize some decent blocking one needs to put the ball in the hands of someone who can break tackles.
 
Blocking has little to do with it, Archer is indecisive and fails to catch the ball and turn upfield, he also lacks vision and runs right into defenders and lacks agility and any moves. Bad pick just keeps getting worse, he was drafted for his return ability and has now been replaced on both punt and kickoff returns.

My thoughts are that if there was any decent blocking there would not be defenders there for him to run into so damn soon.
 
The only time Archer breaks a tackle is when he runs straight out of bounds.
 
Took them 7 weeks to figure out what some of us knew from the get-go. He sucks. Wasted draft pick. Par for the course for this regime. smh

NOT one thing. How bad is this coaching / GM team? We have nothing, look forward to nothing, end with nothing. A few bright glitches here and there, but, generally just a sub average team. Hope the fan NO shows continue to help ensure some changes.

If he's not returning kicks this week, he should probably be inactive.

He only played 3 offensive snap counts last week.
 
What the hell will Ben think not having to start at the 14 yard line every damn time?
 
According to Danny Smith the Special Teams Coach Archer is going to be a good player and is improving. No one wants to take accountability for yet another wasted pick in the Tomlin era. You have the blind leading the blind the past 8 seasons.
 
I say give Ross Ventrone a chance on returns!!! Dude runs with his hair on fire. The only question I guess would be ball security.

The "look how freaking intelligent I look" part. There are a few that have a permanent hole in the middle of their backs from pounding themselves on it all day long. They get off on it. A couple of them, if they were standing in from of you, you could see the person standing behind them because the hole goes all the through from so much back pounding.
 
1. Many of us were told what dipshit loser-*** fake troll non-fans we were for not loving the Archer pick, so it is indeed funny to see those ****-flinging cheerleaders proven wrong so quickly (and disappear from the board when his name comes up, refusing to comment on Archer's lack of impact).

2. It didn't take "intelligence" to see what a stupid pick that was.

Yea, just like those guys that have holes in their backs after Archer had 2 good runs in pre-season. You remember.. those "Look how freaking intelligent I look" guys. But now those guys don't post much and the 100+ Archer thread was allowed to die because they didn't have anything more to pat their backs about.
 
maybe we could give ol' Najeh a call? See if he could pick up Cary Davis on the way in? :o
