In fact he looks slow. My what a con job at the combine
I loathed the Archer pick as much as anyone, but Wheaton had 6 catches last year. 3 in Week 4 and 3 in Week 11.
Speaking of wheaton,, and J. brown and Heyward bey.... wtf , its like ben is throwing it to Antonio or heath... or hes taking the sack..
I think when you say shifty, you could actually mean smart.Give me a wicked shifty player like AB or Randle El any day over a straight line speed guy.. Archer is not shifty at all...
Wheaton was picked to be a future starter and was injured all year, Arcjher was a luxury pick who will never be a starter, your point ?
I'm sure my post wasn't that ambiguous, but since you need your hand held...
It's pretty telling that the future starter played 12 games and only had 6 catches for 64 yards. Archer has had 5 touches in 3 games. You should just be happy that he's being involved in the offense at all. He's a ******* rookie.
Think about the best ways to use Archer. Now ask if you would rather bell or antonio run that same play.
Who gives a **** if he is a rookie, he is being force fed the ball when he is in the game and is doing nothing. He already has proven he can't return punts, he is awful at KO returns and is a nothing in the running or passing game. Wheaton was injured and was behind Cotchery, Brown and Sanders and was not force fed the ball. Wheaton is a stud while Archer is a dud and many knew this when we wastred a 3rd round pick on a small gimmick player but continue to try and compare apples to oranges.

The point is that our rookies have always been underused, even players like Antonio Brown and Markus Wheaton, who both averaged 10 YPC as rookies. What the hell do you expect from a player that came into this week with 18 snaps and 2 touches under his belt?
Archer was a **** pick, that I agree with. What I fail to understand is why you're expecting him to contribute in any manner considering the production of past, non-**** rookies.
Wheaton is a stud? Did he play today? 20 receptions in 5 games is a stud? Wheaton in my opinion has pretty much been a bust too for a 3rd round pick also.
