Those words right there sum up how trump ran and won his campaign. He ran on hatred, intolerance, anger and bullying and won a following that way. Those are reasons I will never/can never support the likes of him. I would have added lying to that (Mexico will pay for the wall, repeal/replace Obamacare from day one, etc), but every politician lies. Of course his daily lies takes it to a whole other level, but hey, the truth isn't for everyone. But to each their own. He's not for me and stands for nothing I would want representing me. I think by him not going to the funeral pretty much is the norm as far as presidents not attending these events, and though he makes my skin crawl daily, I can overlook this. But I do want to add an LOL because if Melania was a democrat, she'd be labeled as a money grabbing ***** (which has always been my opinion of her) along with a slew of other fine adjectives. The word class and Melania don't belong in the same sentence for sure, but she is the perfect match for him. I liked the Bush family. Terrible presidents, but likable, respectable men. Trump will never be held in that same esteem nor should he be.

Which is why I said I never, as me personally. It was actually less than half of the country, but we don't need to get technical. And this whole 2nd amendment rights stuff...that's a personal issue. I have no qualms with the 2nd Amendment and I know no one in my life who does either. There are activists on both sides of the fence, so what are you gonna do? Label everyone part of a political party as something they're not? Why does it matter what political party you're a part of? I don't lump all the trump voters in the same category, like my sister, and luckily the only ones I see lashing out are the ones on forums, which I can say that's what forums are for. But aren't they also for general discussion? I can't speak for the entire dem party, I can only speak for me and if I'm not degrading you for your choice in vote, which BTW is our right in our free country, then why can't I expect the same in return? How about the right-wing "Christians" who pass judgment on everyone and shove their beliefs down everyone's throats and banish them to hell for not thinking the same way? No "leftist" I know "celebrates" any such thing, so I don't know what circles you're describing. This is a prime example of labeling. Yes I voted for Clinton in the 90s. Yes I voted for Hillary. I didn't know Bill was a pig until Monica Lewinsky and didn't know about the stuff about Hillary. I cast my vote on who I think is the best choice at the time of an election, not personal issues. Personal issues were NOT the reasons I didn't vote for trump. I wasn't voting for someone I could never stand, someone I consider a con and who wouldn't know the truth if it smacked him in the face. His sexual promiscuity didn't weight in at all. But what does it say about your vote, voting for trump, the king of adultery, the grabber of ******* whether they're married or not? Are you accusing the left of supporting sexual promiscuity but support it yourself? Is that what I'm to assume then?
