France24 reports a passport was found in the attack vehicle belonging to a man with an “Arabic surname”, while local broadcaster TeleMadrid and elPeriodico reports the name of the man who hired the van involved in the attack as Driss el Ouakbir.

There must be some mistake Moslems would not launch another terrorist attack after getting what they wanted with the first terrorist attack would they?

Such a shame. Las Ramblas is a great place to hang out, spent many a day strolling down that boulevard with my wife and kids. Prayers for all those involved, so sad to see the bloodshed and the number of innocents that died today.

Extremist Islamic terrorism remains a constant source of murder and bloodshed. Seemingly nothing has been done to diminish its reach. It's like a runaway train, ISIS and Islamic terrorists, spreading fear and terror and carrying out attacks on a whim with zero consequences. At this stage, it seems nobody is willing to step up and do anything about it. ISIS is just a part of life, a constant threat we'll all have to live with. You also no longer need someone who can engineer explosives and find someone willing to carry a bomb on a one way trip. They might not even be identical. We still don't have proof the killer in Charlottesville got into his car and had the premeditated intent of running over counter-protesters. Legally, he's going to claim self defense or panic or something else or that his car was attacked first. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. And the video likely shows a crime of passion/anger (thus the 2nd degree murder charge).

What happened in Barcelona is clearly premeditated 1st degree murder.
