What a disturbing press conference that was. First, there was literally no discussion of a plan. Merely platitudes about "we will rebuild" and we will do better. They spent the better part of an hour simply attacking Trump. Showing that Democrats haven't learned a thing since 2016 and in fact have doubled down on their failed approach.
Biden kicked off the presser saying "I met a talented group of women over the past week, all qualified to be President."
Is he purely an idiot, or was that a tell?
A few sentences later, he slurred the word fundraiser, pronouncing it fundsrazerrrrrs. I thought OMG his dementia is going to go full tilt on us. The moment when he said "Possibilities" about 6 times in 5 seconds made me double take - "Don't ad lib Joe, just don't."
In once sentence, he said Harris' first name twice, pronouncing it differently each time - the first time KAMala, then KUMala. What the?
They invoked race countless times, leading with "little black and little brown girls." Then saying what we are seeing in the streets is a "coalition of conscience." Who...in...their right minds sees the riots and destruction as any form of conscience with moral bearing?
They then compared Ebola to COVID. I can't even go into the epic amount of stupid involved in that thinking. But they sure as hell exposed their hands that they have been teeing up COVID and invoking lock downs for one purpose....the Election. It's been the plan all along. It was invoked so much it was evidently clear...Russia failed, impeachment failed, and this is their Hail Mary and they will drive thousands of business closed, ruin the education of our children, and force tens of millions to be homeless in the hunt for power. Sickening.
They invoked Charlottesville, and talked about the rise of white supremacy. They may have lost the election there. Americans aren't stupid. We see no rise in white supremacy but we see a mind numbing rise in Leftist violence on TV every single day - death, destruction, anarchy. They call out Charlottesville, using lines that have many times been debunked while calling Leftist violence a "coalition of conscience." So inflammatory and so dangerous.
I heard nothing new in that press conference beyond the same talking points we've heard from the media for four years. Literal repetition. The fact that they wholly ignored the violence in Chicago, their plan to tax Americans to death, their plan to destroy our energy independence, while lauding the violence and destruction occurring may well come back to haunt them.
