Blount released..

Patriots will have all our secrets now. We're doomed when we meet in the PO.

(see what I did there)

True, but 9 times out of 10 the Pats* beat up LeBeau and steal his lunch money anyway, even when our defense was a lot better than it is now. Remember, the Steelers have been to 3 SB's in 9 years but never had to face the Pats* in the playoffs any of those times.

I hate Belicheat with every fiber of my being, I hate his team, I hate his car, I hate his house, I hate the dog that pisses on the side of his house, but he's 100 times the coach that Tomlin is. Cheating or not, the Pats* make very very few technical mistakes while Cool Shades' team makes about 5 on every series. Our coach cuts a vastly better profile on the sidelines in aviator sunglasses than does Belicheat in that hoodie he stole from a homeless person though.

Coming from someone who's always saying that 'style points don't matter', seems kind of hypocritical of him.

How did the Pats get a compensatory pick for Blount? They didn't even draft him.

They didn't. You don't get compensation picks till the following season. In this case the 2015 draft.

So they will get a comp pick?
I thought teams only got compensation for players they drafted?
Wihat comp pick have the Steelers ever gotten for a player they didn't draft?

Go back and look at his pre-Brady coaching record..........he had one winning season prior to the Brady era. He absolutely sucked *** (record-wise). Maybe..maybe he got better as he got older........most coaches do. But his legacy is tainted with the SPygate scandal.

No f****** way-

Please dont tell me that the Pats get a comp pick AND the player?!?!

Considering how he sucked his previous teammates dicks on Twitter all season, its no surprise he is going back there. **** him and **** that team

Comp. picks are given out right before the draft after the NFL looks at the contracts, stats and contribution of the lost players. They also take into consideration what FAs you signed. Blount signed a cheap contract so I highly doubt he will receive anything higher than a 7th round pick... I really doubt he gets that because I'm sure they signed a FA or two last year.

Huge win for the Patriots, not only do they get a good player they get someone that knows the complete Steelers offense. Lets hope we don't have to face them later down the line, the Patriots used to sign former Steelers all the time just to pick their brain.

They lost him as a free agent, but signed him as a free agent. Wouldn't these cancel each other out any way? -1 + 1 = 0

Typical, quitters and cheaters have to hang together! As for meeting the Pats* in the post season, the Steelers still have a long way to go to even get in the post season yet. There's decent odds that their next game will be against a 4-7 Saints team and we all know how amazing this team performs against teams with ****** records.

Shoulda kept him under contract but on the bench. That would probably be the worst punishment he could endure by not being allowed on the field.

They really had no choice. Asiata is out with a concussion and the other AP replacement McKinnon has a lower back injury. Tate better pick up the pace quickly. He's it.

And BTW nothing would be sweeter than a Packer Upset. Not holding my breath
I hope you are meaning the Pack beats the cheatriots. I would also like the Lions to whack the patriots this year.

The Duce Staley Memorial Sweatsuit has been gathering dust.

Suspend him 4 games for conduct detrimental to the team, keep him away from the facility then cut him before the playoffs. That's how I would have handled it. **** that guy.

This. Not sure how it would have worked out with the roster spots but I would have done anything I could to keep him from getting what he wanted while not hurt my team.

Josh Harris promoted from practice squad.

Pouncey all but called him a cancer. He he couched his statement behind a hypothetical, "if he was a cancer", but the meaning was there in context. Do you keep a cancer in the locker room to poison others or do you remove the cancer and move forward? Tough call.

Can't you suspend the cancer and send his *** home without giving him what he wants? Who on here is saying they should have kept him in the locker room? Strawman much?

You can be sure the cheatriots will have ALL of our plays and calls now.I would have suspended that ******* and kept him inactive until the end of the year. If we make the playoffs and play those pricks. They'd better change them all up and certainly no radio signals in that ******* stadium.
