I just heard this STUUUPID MFER say that Blount should not have left NE to join the Steelers with an aging offense and an OL that has been all over the place the last few years. He said Blount will take a step back this year. I swear man, I hope these radio jobs are low paying. Where do they get these guys???

Blount averaged 5.0 yards per carry last year. He won't do that this year. So, in a sense, he will "take a step back". I think it was a great pickup for us, but he won't find as much room to run in our offense as he did last year.

Right now, anybody can say anything they want. No way to prove otherwise. Its the NON-Accountability, that crushes me! If Blount does reach or exceed his average, then he wouldn't be taking a step backward. What if
he exceeds, in a different role than used last year?

There are two people on the radio, that if I hear their voice I will almost always change the channel instantly. Those two are Booger McFarland and Colin Cowherd.

I like eveyone else on NFL Radio, Bob Papa is OK, Derrick Brooks is great. Amani Toomer is a bit opinionated, Ross Tucker is a bit arrogant. ButI cannot take Booger at all .

The AGING offense is what really got me. WOOOOW!!

On radio it is voice skills and little else, on TV it's appearance and voice and little else. Most of these schmucks have all their grey matter tied up in life support.

Since they cant call our defense old anymore i guess its time to pick on the offense. If its said 10 years in a row eventually it will be true.

I'm just curious, but to LAZy, to figure out where our offense ranks agewise? Anybody know or willing to do the footwork?

I know the o-line is young, foster is the oldest at 27(?) Bell is 21 i think, Wheaton is 22ish, Brown 26(?) The only older players are Ben and Heath at 33 and 34, unless you count Lance Moore who is 30.

Don't make the mistake of thinking people in the media are smart or knowledgeable on the subjects they discuss. They used to be back when it was about true news gathering, but now sports news and "hard" news is no longer informational, it's opinion.

Warren Sapp said the steelers were old, so that's it. Steelers are old until they make the playoffs again. Then they'd be called experienced.

Aging? LOL I'm pretty sure the only starters over 30 are Ben and Heath

We actually have one of the youngest offenses...he's still walking in Sapp' s shadow...even his analyst shadow.

Obviously he didn't even take the time to listen to Sapp's original statements. Sapp was talking about the defense not the offense.
