Yes, the title of the thread was a little misleading: He really got quite nothing. He got what he was gonna get this year and that is it pretty much. All together it sounds like he signed a new big deal but he really didn't.

2. If he plays well this year, they can again restructure next year and reduce his cap hit once again.

Low garunteed money is actually the right move In Cam situation. Let him think he won, sign a paper çontract just to shut him up.
On the hook for little to nothing after this year.
