But like with Ben it's robbing Peter to pay Paul. He would have went to zero next year. Now he is 12. Or whatever. And likely because they would have to pay him the 12 if he is even reasonable they will pay him a starters wage even if he is marginal.

Had they cut Heyward, it would have saved the Steelers 16+ million cap dollars. The new contract guarantees him $16 million. Sounds like a wash to me.
If somehow, by some miracle of God, he puts together an outstanding season in 2024, those two future years under contract will look like a bargain. Highly unlikely in my opinion, but I guess it's possible. They don't have to hear him crying about an extension anymore, at least.

Yea, I'd love that, to see Cam and Watt and Shades all retire with a new Lombardi trophy next year. I'd also like the moon to be made out of cheese and then hunks of it fall to earth, feeding billions of people. And I'd like all evil people to be erased off the face of the Earth. Might as well have endless lobster tail as well. And twice baked potatoes made with added sour cream, cheddar cheese, butter.
So it's a big production without any substance. So Tomlin like. Beautiful. Just awesome. A complete waste of time, but at least "Cam feels good." Brilliant. Cam can stop blathering about playing for Cleveland now.

Meh..... I would have liked to have rather seen a pay cut for Cam. I will say with all of his screenshots he has saved up this off season that I am expecting a huge season from Cam. Essentially making eat my words of a pay cut for him. Get it done Cam!!!!!
