College Football Playoff Thread

The Texas QB seems to be limited on his pocket awareness. Also, his passes are knocked down a lot.

Great call on the pressure from OHio. Texas and Ohio both could teach the Tomlin team a thing or two.

Arch might be a better option against TOFU’s pass rush

Sark won’t do it though

He'll make more money in college than the NFL. Crazy overpayment, IMO, but probably worth it for Miami.

I think we’ll see lots of QBs stay in college as long as possible. If you aren’t going to be a 1st rounder then you should stay. You’ll make more money in college than you will as a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Plus you can improve your stock. QBs have such long careers, it doesn’t matter if you’re older when you enter the draft.

Same for OL. But RB’s have a tough decision. You need to get to that 2nd contract ASAP in the NFL. Plus, more starts and carries is a negative for RB.

I'm always amazed how these big time coaches wilt in the big situations. I get not having faith against Ohio State's goalie package that is fair. But that means your best chance for a PA pop play is on first down. The sidecar toss was inexcusable. They are completely geeked for run and they are tackling damn near perfectly. You are not getting edge. Sarkisian has to eat that one and live with it. Ohio State is a formidable team. No question. Hope it's a great game.

Or maybe because they are so important at this level they will get some love when the money gets spread around.

I’m not sure there’s a less likable person in college football than Will Howard. As much as I like the way Ohio State is playing, there’s just something disingenuous about the guy. He comes off as kind of a choad. The whole “I wasn’t good enough” crap. Ohio State didn’t want you either. That’s how you ended up at Kansas State. But sure, you’re awesome because you joined an absolutely loaded team.

I really like Jack Sawyer. Guy is a gamer. Maybe not the most gifted player, but he is all effort and motor. No quit in that guy.
