Day 3 - Draft Day

I did not do a mock this year. I have not stated anything about whom else they should have taken. This is what I know, players his size do not make it at the RB position in the NFL. If you wanted a slot receiver, there were plenty other PURE receivers available with speed and experience.

Any way you slice it, it is project. Do we currently have the luxury of a project? Are we that deep?

What if we could draft TWO of them instead of one?

Would have been nice ... I'd take that over Landry Jones (I know, his pick wasn't the traded but still).

Not true - we just choose not to keep piling on something that CANNOT be changed now even BEFORE the kid suits up...

Our first 2 picks were solid, with the 3rd being controversial...

Sooo obviously everyone would rather spend their time bitching about that one pick and ignoring all the players still on the board today- players that everyone would have loved to have yesterday.

It's an internet message board. What else should we do on here?

He may not ever suit up. He has the profile of a gameday inactive for two years until he's cut.

I could care less if we were all in a boardroom - you don't know if he will or will not suit up. Until then let's move on.

On to the 4th round - Jet pick Shaq Evans, WR

BTW, Tavon Austin had a **** year.

40 receptions, 418 yds, 4 TD, only 10.5 average.

And that's with him being the top pick and the Rams trying to get him involved in the offense. What would his numbers look like if he was getting 10-15 snaps per game?

Wish we could draft two of them

Cannot talk about the draft picks prior to them being picked because you do not know who they are.

Should not talk about them after they are picked because they did not suit up.

Halfway through the season, should not talk about them because they are still developing.

After they are cut, what is the use?

Why come to a message board? They have plenty of porn on the net for circle jerks.

I think we're going new mascot here?

I would be fine with a project, that being a guy with the potential to become a contributor. A player with Archer's skillset and measurables does not have that at this point.

Glad to see the Raiders take McGill. He is a guy that loves football. Truly loves it. He can stand off to the side and watch it for days. Makes Deion Sanders look like Rod Woodson.
