Deflate-gate......God I hate the Pats!!!!

That's fine. I freely admit I was not a physics major. But how is it that the Colts' balls were still in the specified range of pressure but the Pats** were not?

Obviously the colts inflated their balls in a refrigerator.

I don't get how a investigation could really be going on. How long does it take to figure this out?

they can find any angle to say what if, but in the end it always comes back to this.....

none of the Colts had issues. why? because the pats deflated the balls to get a unfair advantage

cove cover duck all they want but here lies the truth

Bill have another press conference and conflict Brady some more, I am sure we will start to believe you eventually

not

From a scientific point of view that's more suspicious. Maybe the Colts were cheating?

Maybe the Colts were illegally keeping the balls warm? Maybe they did a better job drying them out?

Who knows...

its obvious, the NFL knows the deal, they just want to delay, and minimize the impact after the SB.

Only fair way for the conflict of interest is to give this to a outside agency the owners minus Kraft decides on.

and let them to the investigation and hand out the punishment.

Any punishment less than Bountygate is pure Goodell favoritism.

While it is nice to cite science, it is also good to have economics guys who are always ready with the "on the other hand", because most science folks forget, in the moment, to add the perspective of the frame of reference, as was clearly demonstrated here.

Sure, that's a wonderful argument.

Ignore science. Ignore experiments. Just make up whatever you want to believe.

You sound like the Religious Right when debating global warming.

Yeah, that's the ticket, sure, yeah....

because the Colts were caught and reported cheating over and over and over again?

yeah that is real logical

Yes the colts were cheating to keep the balls in spec.

OMG --- I cannot believe how many Closet **Pat fans there are on this BB -- Really you want to believe that they can't or don't cheat .. PLEASE GIVE ME A BREAK !!

What this is turning into is a witch hunt and you guys are waving the pitch forks.

A scientific experiment PROVES it's more likely the Colts did something to their balls to keep them inflated than the Patriots did, but sure, because of SpyGate everyone is on the cheater bandwagon. Ignore the facts. Ignore science.

You guys are pathetic.

dej you seem like one of those people who come up with a far stretched theory and hang on it hating to be wong, despite the more logical conclusions.

you are in the minority here across the nation but the patriots will appreciate your illogical theory.

don't expect too many people to believe it outside of that, sorry

He never did explain how that one ball for the pats stayed properly inflated. I guess they were illegally keeping it heated.

I have no idea, do you?

It's illegal to keep the balls warm, yet teams do that all the time. You guys don't think it's POSSIBLE that the Colts were using the sideline heaters to illegally warm up the balls? No, that could NEVER happen. It's much more likely the ball boys were using needles, hidden under towels and letting air out of the balls in a very inexact way during the first half to make Tom Brady happy....

Sure.... whatever you guys want to believe is 100% correct.

they did NO investigation or scientific experiment at the exact temperatures. Nor did they explain why one teams balls are regulation while the others aren't.

It isn't pitch forks the nation and many across the country has, it is the fact that many have grown tired of Billacheat and Goodell/Krafts cheating ways.

And the report never actually said the exact PSI difference in ALL 12 Patriot balls. It is impossible to think 11 were exactly 2 psi less and 1 was nothing less.

Most likely all 12 balls have a range from 0 to 2 psi different or the reporters just decided to "round to the nearest integer" to make it easy for the stupid masses to comprehend or to make it sound worse than it was.

someone liked science in school and thinks whatever cockamamie idea he comes up with he is right, and everyone else is pathetic.

That butthert approach is semi childish.

As I don't think he is pathetic, I think he is just reaching, wrong, but not everyone can be right.

Thing is a club with infraction after infraction after infraction after infraction doesn't get a what if scientific pass.

That is like a thief stealing something over and over and over again. Looking guilty and someone coming up with a what if he didn't do it.

Too ******* bad. Don't repetitively cheat,, his sorry *** should have been banned from the NFL years ago. Pete Rose-d out of the NFL .for willfully cheating in the first place.

Bullshit.

Look at the comments today over a PFT at this article:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...xplanation-on-inflation-raises-new-questions/

Notice the "public voting" on the issue. Most are telling PFT to let it go. Most are saying it's a witchhunt. Most are now siding with the Patriots that this is a total non-issue.

For some reason, Steeler Nation and this message board in particular LOVE to bury the Patriots. It's just a non stop thing here and it always has been.

You are much different than the "norm". Believe me. I'm on different message boards. I don't live in Pittsburgh MSA, I discuss football on a much broader basis than just "Steelers issues" only. You are unique in your hatred of the Patriots and are NOT normal on the Spygate and Deflategate.

For some reason you guys can't see the forest from the trees when discussing the Patriots at all.

t would be naive to assume that the procedures used by the Patriots when it comes to inflating and handling footballs was accidental or coincidental,

from the same article

I agree with Nye that rubbing the football does not change the pressure (although wearing in the leather so it "stretches" does).

Again, Bill Belichick isn't a scientist. He didn't use correct scientific verbiage in his press conference (I watched it). Even I was confused at where he was trying to go.

I just know an experiment was run using real NFL footballs, using real temperature change of 20 degrees and wetting down the balls like the conditions on the field and the pressure fell 1.75 psi to 1.95 psi.

When Mr. Nye decides to run some experiments like he normally does, I'll watch and learn something.

we love to bury Bill because the first time didn't result in a fitting punishment or the second time which was still conveniently less than Bountygate.

again he should have been banned for life then, no question about it.

And lets see if your scientific hoopla knows what was on those ******* destroyed tapes, that everyone knows what was worse than what was thrown out to the public.

You carry on with your agenda but it won't become ours.
