Every time you think your Schadenfreude has peaked, you see another article like this!

Democrats are still having restless nights because of Donald Trump’s election victory.

The Washington Post reported that the losing party is still down in the dumps and having trouble facing the reality of massive election losses. They say Hillary Clinton’s defeat “feels like a bad dream.”

“Even after all 50 states have certified their results and Trump officially won in the electoral college, many Democrats—including alumni of the campaign—are still coming to grips with the reality that, one month from today, he will be sitting in the Oval Office”

“Many Democrats say that it still feels like a bad dream,” he wrote. “They wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat as the reality of a Trump presidency sinks in a little deeper, as they realize that this is not Groundhog Day and that there are no do-overs.”

“They lay in bed, staring at the ceiling,” Hohmann continued. “Instead of counting sheep, they revisit the events and re-litigate their decisions.”

Not to worry. Obama is going to settle in D.C. and be a mentor to all those disillusioned democrats.

It's funny that Obama thinks he has any clout.

His greatness resides only in his mind. The smell of his elite narcissistic I know better than all of you ways permeates from his very thin snowflake type skin.

Putin to Democrats: "You lost, get over it."

OMG OMG OMG! You used the P word!

now Tibs will come screaming in with some blathering rant

Personally, I wouldn't care if Russia rolled his tanks into Europe, **** them all - 70 years later those ***** we rebuilt now turn Europe into another Muslim shithole

Pull back our military from all of Europe, let the UN pay for their defense.

Ok WTF is a Pepe and WTF is Keke-ing???? I must be REALLY out of the loop.
(Referring to the 12 Days of Christmas where it says 4 Pepes Kekeing).

I had no idea what the alt-right was until the Steve Bannon nonsense appeared. I first thought it was some kind of keyboard shortcut. I had to use the Google to find out.

I consider myself a moderate/right wing person. I didn't know alt-right existed until this past election.

Alt-Right has taken a life of it's own now. People can define it however they want to confirm their current narrative.

To me, and I am moderate/right leaning as well, it's the shift of conservatives from a religious, social conservative narrative to a Nationalist narrative. Sure, the "conservative" blanket still covers all of us, but there is no doubt Trump gained votes by maintaining the evangelical, social conservative vote but gained substantially in the rust belt with a Nationalist platform.

Any Nationalist platform will appeal to some fringes of the party. Primarily those with fascist and/or racist undertones (even though fascism isn't really "conservative" at all). Thus anyone against a Nationalist, conservative ideologies will be lumped together with the "bad apples" that also agree with many of it's tenets. This is no different that what some here did to Bernie Sanders supporters.

Sanders was a definite shift in leftist ideology from (for example) a Bill Clinton view of the party to one much more euro-socialistic. And that brought out support from far-left crazies like communists, hippies and anarchists (although "anarchism" isn't liberal at all). Again, we can't define all supporters of Sanders as communists just like you can't define all Trump supporters as racist neo-nazis. The left-wing media might try to do that to support their narrative, but it is wrong.

Again, we've talked about this ad-nauseum, but this election and it's main issues are so similar to what Europe has been seeing for the last 15 years. But unlike Europe which is convoluted with multiple parties, our two-party system really seems to want to try to put everyone under the same tent when a candidate wins the nomination of a party. It's just not that simple.

I'm a conservative with a splash of libertarian. I have no idea what alt right is. I do know I'm just about 100% opposite of the entire democratic platform. If you could call it that. They've been overrun by socialist control freak pc snowflake idiots. I'm counting on us reversing the last 8 years of absolute nonsense.
